I never write poor reviews, but here we are. 2026's worst sunglasses.
First up: the people that work in the store are absolutely lovely.
Now the bad: The sunglasses just fall apart. It has happened twice. No impact, just cracked and fell into two pieces. Also, within a couple of days of owning my second pair, the florets on the front just fell off. I expect more from a pair of $400 sunglasses.
I walked to the store expecting the pair would be replaced. The guy working in the store was lovely, couldn't have been nicer. But his hands were tied as these are out of warranty. I don't think it's unfair to expect a pair of sunglasses, luxury sunglasses, to last longer than a year. He was familiar with the problem, "the acetate dries out and cracks". If it were my business I would make the customer whole for what seems to be a manufacturing issue.
I would strongly, strongly recommend not buying these until they improve their warranty.
UPDATE: long exchange with their customer service team and they absolutely failed to fix the problem. Offered me 50% off. Absolute joke. RUN AWAY AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN!!!
2026 update: my colleague just had the same issue. This place is a total joke. RUN!

I walked up all the eye glass stores on Abbot Kinney and could not find glasses that fit my face, esthetically. Then I landed here. In my opinion, by far you'll find some of the most stylish glasses here. The customer service was excellent; that's also what you're paying for. I had several concerns after I bought my prescription glasses. They offered free-of-charge solutions. But then I realized I had fabricated my own concerns. There was no problem to solve. But that they still offered to help says a lot! Garrett, the employee, was great!

This is my third pair of GL frames. $900+ and brand new (3 months old). I love the design but the temple pieces warp and are so poorly made. Good thing they sell replacement temples for $200?!!! C'mon Garrett you can do better.
