Dr. Kuenning is an exceptional eye doctor and optometrist. She is incredibly thorough and truly takes her time. While most eye exams I've had elsewhere last only 10-15 minutes, Dr. Kuenning spent a full hour with me. She helped identify that my issues with contact lenses were caused by dry eyes -- something no one had ever fully explained before. Since seeing her, my headaches, itchy eyes, and eye strain are gone, and I finally feel like myself again. Her dry eye treatment and attention to detail made such a difference in my daily comfort and vision. Dr. Kuenning is also amazing with seniors and specializes in providing eye care for nursing home patients. She genuinely listens and makes sure her patients have the correct eyeglasses and eye care during a time in life when it matters most. On top of her clinical expertise, her office is beautiful, efficient, and welcoming. She carries a great selection of high-end designer eyeglass frames, which made choosing glasses fun and easy. I have been a patient of Dr Kuenning for almost 20 years. The personal care and attention she gives to each patient is outstanding, and she really cares about you as a whole person! Your overall health, not just your eye health, is so important to her. Plus she spent about 20 minutes just helping me pick the right frames! I don't know why anyone would ever go anywhere else. My parents, siblings, and spouse all visit her as well and love her just as much as I do!

I had the most thorough eye exam ever. Dr. Karen was incredibly descriptive through all the different tests and actually taught me about my eyes. I have been enough times around the sun that I now need reading glasses. I picked frames there, and she did the lens with blue light in her office. It has made an immense difference with my eyes not being exhausted by the end of the day. I also took my son to see Dr. Karen after realizing he was struggling seeing objects further away. He didn't tell me initially because he did not want to wear glasses. Dr. Karen taught him how to use contacts. As Dr. K says "healthy vision begins with healthy eyes". Dr. Kuenning is the best! She went above and beyond during my eye exam helping me really understand how amazing our eyes are and helped point out some things in my eyes to keep track of over the years. I got a new set of prescription sunglasses and also glasses to wear at night while driving. I feel much safer now and am loving them already. Highly reccomended!
