I have never had problems with my eye exams or prescription. Dr. Burgeon is great.
Getting the glasses that actualy match my prescription

Manufacturing defects are not caught before the glasses go on my face!
They do not have a process that measures the lenses for manufacturing defects before I put the glasses on my face. This is unacceptible. I've noticed that other places have the same problem - I'm always tasked with playing "QA" for them - so I encourage coming up with a process that verifies "these glasses match the prescription and are free from any manufacturing defects" before I ever touch the glasses. I should not be responsible for wearing the glasses, suffering headaches and saying "jeez there's really something wrong with these" and having to go to a different eye doctor before someone notices problems in the lenses themselves. Do your own QA or you will suffer from bad reviews, and really the suffering of your customers should already be enough of a motivator to do a better job.

I recently needed to switch Optometrists and came across Main Street Vision Care. Dr. Bourgon was a great listener and explained a few eye issues I was experiencing and offered some solutions. I also enjoyed picking out my eyeglasses, as they had a wonderful selection to choose from and I definitely love the ones I chose. I have since sent my husband there and we plan on returning. Everyone at that office is friendly, personable and it is always a pleasant experience.

Visiting from out of town, tore my cornea, they brought me in after only 10 minutes, Dr B was very attentive, explained everything, showed images, put on a protection lens, prescribed drops, took maybe 20 minutes but she never rushed the appointment or made me feel like less than her own mom, very very nice and I highly recommend! If I lived here she would be my optometrist

Main Street Vision Care was my optometrist for a very long time. I had no issues, and was happy rating them a 5 star. That, however, changed with new ownership.
A few things that I noticed after the change of ownership:
My prescription was not good. I don't know what was off about it, but after comparing it to the prescription that I recently got from a new optometrist, its night and day. Not to mention that I was told new lenses in my old frames would be approximately $800 when the new place did them for under $200.
I also found out, that my old lenses were cut and installed incorrectly! I went to a new optometrist and they were shocked when they reused my frames that Main Street Vision cut the lenses too small and had to bandage that by putting little plastic spacers and some sort of glue in-between the frames and lenses. After time, this apparently melted and caused a sticky glue like substance to be visible on the edging of my lenses. It seems that if you make a mistake and cut the lenses too small, the best bet is to just replace them free of charge and do better next time.
All that being said, two stars because the staff was nice.

Myself and my family have been coming to Main Street Vision Care for a few years now and we love it. Everyone is so friendly, I can always get an appointment pretty quickly, and they have a great selection of glasses. I recently came in to get a pair of glasses adjusted that I didn't even buy from them, and Shantel was so kind and helpful and worked magic on my frames so they no longer slide down my face and sit crookedly. A great place with great staff!

When I saw all of the 5/5 stars, I thought there was something weird and fishy. Like, no place can get that many good reviews naturally, right?
Well, they truly deserve it.
I have struggled to find a good eye doctor since moving to Colorado almost 4 years ago, and this place is truly the best. Ask for Kelly Bourgon. She truly cared about my vision issues, and was genuine. You can't fake being as caring as she was.
10/10, all around.
