I came in simply trying to understand my options and ask basic questions. I did not expect the reaction I received. When I asked about a service this practice offers, something another physician had mentioned that I knew nothing about, Dr. Lee told me I was "way out there," gestured while saying it, and said I was "putting the cart before the horse." I explained that I didn't know anything about it and was asking for that reason, which seemed to further irritate him. I was not arguing or challenging him. I was trying to understand. Instead, he became increasingly defensive and condescending. I repeatedly had to remind him that he is the provider and I am the patient, and that I rely on him to help explain my options and wouldn't know if I didn't ask. It was very strange. The interaction escalated to the point that I told him I was shocked by how I was being treated. He agreed the conversation had become confrontational. Since my questions were still not being answered, I ended the visit on the spot and let him know I would not be continuing care with him. My eyes were dilated, and no protective shielding was offered during the exam, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Luckily, I had my sunglasses. I will not be returning and felt it was important to share my experience for anyone who may be hesitant to post. I would also encourage those considering him to read a few other reviews (if you look his name up directly), and read yelp reviews. There were many reviews that were concerning to me as well. You can be your own judge. What stands out is not disagreement, but temperament. In a professional setting, the ability to communicate calmly and tolerate reasonable patient questions matters. The intake staff was very kind, friendly, and professional. The office was clean and inviting. This review reflects my experience with Dr. Lee only.

The visit to Dr. Kendall's office was very good! The staff was warm and welcoming. Leeann, who was responsible for recording my intake information was kind and efficient. She was patient with me through all aspects of the eye exam. Dr. Kendall was very kind and professional. He carefully explained the surgery and asked if I had any questions, and then answered them patiently. I look forward to having my cataracts removed and replaced with corrective lenses.

Incredible, caring and detailed staff. I was nervous finding out the condition I had with my vision, and they put my mind to ease at every step. Had excellent success with both eyes. I was told Dr Lee is the best, and he has def proven that to me and my family.

I had a short wait, which is always exciting going to any doctor. The staff was very friendly. Dr Lee was very informed about why I came & discussed the issue & was will to listen to any questions.

I came in especially for one eye test since they didn't have the equipment needed on the previous day visit. I spent 1/2 hour just to find out the equipment wasn't brought in and that I would have to reschedule. Dosen't give confidence that the people working care.

Everyone in the shop, from doctors to technicians to front desk, were admirable. The notion of cataract surgery frightens the heck out of me, but everyone put me at such ease that I'm ready and eager for the surgery!

Dr. Lee is always friendly and smiling. All the physicians there treat me like I am important to them.

The staff is friendly & effecient. My appointment was on time & thorough.
