I want to give them 4 stars. The visit was fantastic, the price was great, the customer service was great. The doctors knowledge and personality was fantastic. However, the entire purpose of going is the specs. The first thing that bothered me was I waited about a week and a half, I went Wednesday the 15th and called them the 24th only to find out my glasses were ordered on the 24th. Then I called this morning and was told that they were ordered the 24th (as if that's normal to order them a week later) and then she said something about a defect at the lab and hopefully next week. So, my only warning is this; if you're in a rush to get your glasses don't come here. I've been getting glasses since the 3rd grade, I've never had a pair take more than 2 weeks to the day and typically they are even early. I can't help but feel the delay was more due to disorganization up front than it was due to a supposed defect. All that out there the staff all around are really great and friendly, and it does capture that old school doctor feeling. Dr.greenes a huge nerd.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Family Eye Care in Cromwell, CT. During my last visit, there was unprofessional communication from the desk. Ordered contact lenses. However, Jessica at the front desk failed to verify my address, which led to the lenses being shipped to an old address; I haven't lived there for over 4 years. Despite later claiming she had confirmed the address, which never happened. When I made the appointment, I indicated that I moved to update my address. When I attempted to resolve this issue with the office, I was met with dismissive, rude, and aggressive behavior from the staff. It is "not their job to contact patients if lenses or glasses are there nor to give reminders of appointments; it is the patient's responsibility to contact them. They are not babysitters; it's not their job." Additionally, they used up all annual vision benefits for lenses they sent to the wrong address; I was told it was your fault and your problem by Jessica 2x times. Go pick them up from old addressed by the management Nora. Terrible customer service experience overall.

I liked the Doctor he was very friendly and knowledgeable. However I would not get glasses through them. I needed new sunglasses. When I went in to pick them up they had a defect in the frame. I was told it may take a little longer to order a new frame but it would be a quick fix. They never called to tell me when the frames came in. Then they couldn't just pop out the lenses and put them on the new frames so they had to be sent out. Again they didn't call to tell me they were ready for pick up. When I went in to get them they still had a defect worse then the original frame and I'm not sure I have the same frames I picked out. And Nora the lady I dealt with was not there when I went to pick them up. This took place over a 4 month period.

I have no complaints. The service was fast. I got my exam done in under 30 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and informative. Affordable with my vision insurance. I highly recommend.

First time in the practice as my other doctor buggered off with no notice. I was promptly greeted by the staff at the desk and brought in right away. Very friendly. There was a trainee working with me and it took a bit longer though she was eager to learn. Dr. Green was nice. He gave me some great information. Previous providers were very judgemental about getting glasses online, however he and the staff were understanding. Overall very professional, kind and caring. Highly recommended.

Dr. Greene and his staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always treat me with care and respect. Dr. Greene has a great sense of humor and his jovial manner really helps put me at ease. I feel like he and his staff very much extended themselves to help get me squared away with my first ever pair of glasses, something I had been nervous about and putting off for a long time. I only wish I had come to them sooner.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Green! He is so good with his patients and has a good sense of humor. Very caring and doesn't rush you. I was in optics for 25 years. I know good OD when I see one and have him as my doctor. Office staff is wonderful

Absolutely one of the best experiences going for a first visit to a new doc after many years going elsewhere. Every single one of the ladies on staff and Dr. Greene are pleasant, patient, accomodating and informative. I'm very happy to have made the decision to switch to a new place, leaving satisfied and feeling like I received thorough care.
