The appointment was for my son who will be turning 18 in March. He's been a patient of the office for many years but has seen a pediatric eye doctor. I made him the appointment with Dr Ruggerio so that he could have someone going forward.
We were both very impressed with how thorough the initial screening was from the assistant as well as how personable she was. When it came time to see the doctor, he was very welcoming and took the time to ask my son in depth questions prior to even examining him.
Upon checking out, I myself made an appointment with Dr Ruggerio.

Dr. Ruggiero was absolutely terrific. Have been through a slew of appointments and realized it was time for a visit to the Eye Doctor. The doctor was patient in listening to my symptoms and incredibly thorough in his examination. He was clear in explaining each test we would do and the outcomes. He took time for questions and checked in on me between steps when the nurse and support staff were doing other steps.
This visit gave me so much peace of mind and I left feeling like I had the most thorough examination possible. So grateful for Dr. Ruggiero sneaking me in his schedule and for his exceptional treatment and attention.
