Wow! Dr. Wong and his partners are the absolute best. I went to Dr. Yoon about 4 years ago when she was at LensCrafters, and found myself this morning with an eye infection. They were SO kind, and absolutely accommodating, squeezing me in for an appointment right away. Dr. Yoon has the perfect bedside manner, and is on time, efficient, and one of the nicest and most capable doctors I've found. I highly recommend Dr. Wong's office. Dr. Yoon is amazing, and the rest of the staff is, too!
The best ophthalmologists in town; they care for me and for my kids for many years.
They helped me with my pre and post op.
They are amazing people!
Thank you for all the care for all these years!
I have been a patient of Dr. Wong & Associates for several years and I have been very satisfied with the quality of the service. However, my primary reason for writing this review is to acknowledge the OUTSTANDING service provided by Christine M. Her professionalism, courteousness and even empathy are peerless. In a time in which customer service has more frequently become a contradiction in terms, Christine M.'s work ethic is a reminder of what all who interact with the public should strive to achieve... EXCELLENCE.
Dr Wong and staff members were so amazing with my 6 year old! My son is always so curious and everyone was so patient and answered all of his questions. He enjoyed selecting his new frames as well. It was a great first eye Dr exam experience. We will be back.
Dr. Wong and Associates are absolutely amazing! They're always so friendly, caring, and professional. My family and I always feel well taken care of every time we visit. It's rare to find a team that genuinely cares this much -- highly recommend them!
Like most, I am very conscientious about costs these days. After a recent appointment, I decided to order contact lenses through Dr Wong's office to 'buy local' since I was told that the 6 month supply of contacts was completely covered by my insurance. There was some confusion initially with my insurer so their office called me back after 2 days to verify that the contacts were indeed fully covered based on their phone call to, and confirmation with the insurer.
Fast forward nearly two months and I get a bill for $85. Instead of their office being helpful, the woman I spoke with told me it's essentially 'a you problem' and that I needed to deal with the insurance company myself to figure out why I suddenly had to pay nearly $100 after their office assured me the contacts were fully covered.
Needless to say, that wasn't very helpful! When I asked if they recorded the name of the person they spoke with who verified that the contacts were covered back in July, this woman who had not even bothered to speak with the person who actually helped me place the order claimed that their office typically doesn't write down names of who they speak with.
When an office knows that they have specifically told a customer one thing in terms of billing and then it turns out to be something else, at least have the integrity and accountability to pick up the phone and call instead of sheepishly sending a bill hoping that it won't be noticed!
NOW HERE'S THE FUNNY PART: I called the insurer today and found out that the problem was that Dr Wong's office had submitted the initial claim INCORRECTLY. And YES, I have the name of the person with whom I spoke(the insurer provides that information as soon as they answered the call). Apparently unbeknownst to the person to whom I spoke yesterday, Dr Wong's office apparently tried to fix the issue because the insurer received an additional claim TODAY. The $85 their office billed me will indeed be paid by the insurer.
A lot of wasted time could have been avoided had the woman with whom I spoken yesterday simply CAREFULLY checked their own records before flippantly telling me it was now my problem to deal with.
Thankfully they will get paid. But I STRONGLY recommend that others do NOT order contact lenses through Dr Wong's office if this is their approach to customer service when there is an error on their part. The lenses are much cheaper online.
I would like to share with you my experience with the way Dr. Wong saved my left eye....I had somehow scratched the lens and/or cornea of my left eye. Not only could I not see out of it...but it was extremely painful and I literally could not open it. The scratch later worsened and turned into a hole in my eye. The pain was excruciating. I missed 2 weeks of work because I couldn't drive. Dr. Wong treated me...at times 4 x a week...assuring me it would get better. It finally did....Thanks to the care and knowledge of Dr. Wong...I also have to do a big shout out to Christine the Office Mngr....who is an exceptional person. Long story short Dr. Wong saved my left eye. He is a phenomenal Dr. I thank GOD for him. He is the absolute Best eye doctor. GOD bless him.
I had an excellent experience at Dr. Wong and Associates in Danbury, CT. Dr. Wong created the perfect prescription for my needs, and I've never been more satisfied with my vision. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Their knowledge, patience, and friendly demeanor make a world of difference. They take the time to explain everything clearly and genuinely care about your comfort and understanding. It's evident that the team at Dr. Wong's is committed to providing top-notch care. I highly recommend this eye care center to anyone looking for both professional service and a welcoming environment!
