Molk Richard MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Molk for over 30 years. I have always been charmed by his irreverent style but always very confident in his medical prowess. I credit him for probing into my background to identify my genetic tendency as well as probing further in order to diagnose a meningioma. I was saddened when I moved out of state and needed to find another provider. He has been hard to replace.

Office doesn't take vision insurance. Odd when you see a Dr. who services vision and won't take vision insurance. Major red flag! Used our medical insurance without a referral this should have been caught at the desk and resolved. Instead, my spouse was allowed to see the Dr. with no coverage. This was not explained to my spouse. As inconvenient as it would have been to reschedule to get a referral, we would have done so instead of getting a surprise bill for the full amount. Billing also told me 8 months ago this was resolved only to find out they were putting our bill to collections. I don't think they actually did this as we received no collection letters. When I asked who the collection agency was, they said we just send the letters which is either a lie or just a bad practice. So now we are in collections getting phantom letters which we have never received and still have a bill from 2 years prior left unpaid after we were told this would be all set. Patient beware!

The staff is friendly. Dr. Molk is knowledgeable and up to date. He cared about my situation and took time to show me all my options. He is kind and compassionate.

I would give Dr. Molk 10 out of 5 stars if I could. He made my 10 year old son feel so at ease, took his time, did not rush through the appointment, and did a thorough job. I'm grateful for docs like him.

I've been with Dr. Molk for over 30 years. I had to have cataract surgery in one eye. I have a stigmatism, so I wanted to go for a second opinion. I didn't feel comfortable Without A second opinion. I went into the office to state this and the next week I got a letter from Dr. Molk saying I think it would be in your best interest to seek your medical care from a different doctor. He said I believe you need a physician who you can trust whom you feel comfortable talking to and who is advised you Respect. it appears that I have no longer have your trust and respect therefore it wouldn't be wise to continue as your physician you should seek medical care elsewhere. He has no Respect for patient. I'm so Glad I switched to a Office that had better equipment. The lense that he Was going to put could not be put in it Got flaged with equipment at consulting ophthalmologist ( those doctors are great I wish I switch sooner) where I went for a second opinion and had the surgery done. all I wanted was a second opinion and I'm so happy that I Got a second opinion nothing wrong with a second opinion it's your eye you only have one He could've call instead of ignore me. He had his staff write a letter to me .... sad but true

Awesome office fantastic Dr., very personable and great service booking an appointment, extremely accommodating, I enjoyed everything about this business would recommend Dr Molk 100%!!!

Very thorough and friendly- both him and his staff. Been going there for a few years now and will be going back for my next checkup.
