After visiting one optician's office and having an uncomfortable experience, we found Jennifer at Kennedy & Perkins. Dr. Vermund was wonderful! A stark contrast to my review last year of another location. Dr. Vermund took much time, asked pertinent questions, spoke very respectfully and knowledgeably. He put me at ease and used alot of the old school instruments and testing you don't see anymore.
At his recommendation, I started using my original lenses and a pair of cheaters! Problem fixed, I just wish I had gotten this advice last year, I never saw very clearly with prior doctors advice.
Now I see everything! Kennedy and Perkins owner reached out as well last year based on my concerns, great customer service.

Kennedy and Perkins has the latest styles and knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you select the best frames for your taste, face shape, and prescription. They spend all the time and effort required to help you see your best! If you are used to shopping at a warehouse store you might find the prices on the high side, but if you buy your glasses at Kennedy & Perkins you can walk on in and get them adjusted at no cost whenever needed. This is a family-owned small chain in CT. Prescriptions are filled in their own lab. There are occasional sales and they will work with you to find any applicable discounts through insurance or associations. Their customer service is outstanding!
