Finally I got some expert advice regarding my eye problem. Excellent comprehensive exam and follow up...great staff!

My experience with EyeCare Associates has been disappointing. I visited for an eye exam and to renew my glasses and contact lenses prescriptions in early September. First, the exam room felt very outdated. During the vision test, I was asked to read letters reflected on a tiny mirror across the room--it was one of the strangest setups I've seen at any optometrist. The fundus photography machine (used to photograph the back of the eye) also looked decades old, and I now have to redo the test because even the doctor questioned the reliability of the results. After the exam, I waited almost a month for the contact lens testers to arrive. When I called to check on them, the staff told me I was "lucky" because the delivery had just come in that morning. :-) When I received my invoice, it showed only a total amount with no itemized breakdown. I had to call and specifically request a detailed invoice, which they eventually emailed. What finally prompted me to write this review was an unexplained charge that appeared on my credit card. When I called the office, the front desk told me it was for glasses I supposedly ordered the day before, which I hadn't. They then said someone with a similar name or appearance must have ordered the glasses, and the office charged my card by mistake. Overall, the experience with EyeCare Associates was disorganized, outdated, and unprofessional.

Dr. Grygier and the optician whose name I failed to remember showed much care for my 12 year old granddaughter during her annual exam. The reception staff was welcoming and professional as well.

I had a wonderful experience with this eye care clinic for myself and my family. Dr. Jason Grygier was extremely thorough and attentive, ensuring all my concerns were addressed. The staff was amazing--helpful, respectful, and accommodating when it came to scheduling and rescheduling appointments. They were always happy to answer any questions I had, and their patience and professionalism stood out. Highly recommend!

Dr. Nizami listened carefully, did a gentle, thorough examination, considered, addressed and educated me on each issue. She solved the immediate issues, gave me a clear description of follow-up treatments I could do at home and showed me the supplies I would need that they offered. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. When I arrived early, a technician solved a fitting issue with current glasses. A successful, very pleasant experience from start to finish! I will definitely have Dr. Nizami as my go-to eye doctor!

Dr Grygier was wonderful. Conducted the most comprehensive eye examination, for my daughter and came up with a number of positive recommendations to help her. Amber and the front desk staff also very pleasant indeed to work with.
