Dr. Patel is an intelligent, dedicated doctor who listens and then applies his many insights to making the best decisions for one's vision. He prescribed a very detailed prescription for my glasses, and for the first time in many years, I could see clearly again. It was a life-changing experience and I will never go to another doctor. The woman who first attended me, Jane, was masterful in her position in assessing me before I saw Dr. Patel. She explained everything as it was being done so I could easily understand it. She was patient, kind, and professional. She put me right at ease, and the beginning procedures were accomplished accurately and smoothly. I felt that I was receiving the best of care and was quite comfortable by her presence.

On January 5, Dr. Brendan Lawson performed cataract surgery on my right eye It was complicated by the fact that my vision in the left eye is poor adding additional risk The surgery went very well. Dr Lawson had to contend with an additional complication and he handled it with no issues. In addition The staff at eye physicians handled all the logistics making it easy for me and the surgical facility staff in Milford were excellent. I would certainly recommend Dr Lawson for cataract surgery PS In addition he is treating me for glaucoma.

Dr Patel was amazing/brilliant. But the office staff acting like the patient was crazy or constituting a nuisance for requesting PD was just unacceptable. The so called "practice manager" was clearly trying her best not to have an outburst and kept retorting "uh uh uh.. Rude! If your role is to provide mediation/support and all your non-verbal cues and verbal communication show that you are biased, then you need another role. This office carries limited eye frames yet insists that PD will not be disclosed unless an eye frame is bought from them. Just another level of ridiculosity, tying eye glasses sales to prescription. The approach was very mean, devoid of what healthcare stands for.. There are ways you share your ridiculous policy without getting patients out of character or make them seem like they are making an unusual request. PD requests are a norm, if you don't provide PD, find viable ways to relay the information or get more education on how to relate properly and decently with patients. Sad!
