Plainville Optical

I had a great experience this morning with Dr. Dively and the rest of the staff! Just a super pleasant atmosphere. My eye exam was more thorough than others I have received in the past, and I was able to get my contacts with ease.

I personally wanted to write a review because Plainville Optical staff and Doctor were absolutely the best. Professional kind and extremely helpful. Answered all questions and I ordered 3 pairs of glasses and all were received so quickly. Please visit them if you need yours eyes checked and new glasses. Very reasonable priced. And facility is clean!

I just had to leave a review considering I am just so happy with my glasses. I went to another eye place beginning of the year and they messed my prescription up so bad I couldn't see. The Plainville optical was recommended to me. The individuals there were kind and courteous and so willing to help to make it a great experience. I actually picked up my glasses today and I could see driving all the way home! Thank you to all of you. I will definitely be back to get my sunglasses.!

Plainville Optical has always been where I've go for glasses and contact lenses. I have had excellent eye care there from eye exams to finding glasses of my choice. Never a problem and sometimes depending on my Rx change, they have been able to make up lenses while I wait. Friendly and fast service. And they have never made a mistake in my perscription. So happy Plainville has a dependable place like Plainville Optical.

Long story short, over the last 5 years I have gone to 2 big name optical centers. One gave me too strong glasses that I can't see out of or use (the prescription was changed twice and I still can't use them) and they did not treat me well at all. They treated me like I had cheated with someone's husband, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend. For the record I did not! The next place treated me well like a normal patient but both places said my contact lens prescription was good. One visit with Plainville Optical and I can now see clearly with new contact lenses, I never want to take them out. They took the time to actually check my vision and give me the correct contact lens prescription. They also told me my glasses were way too strong. I will take care of the expensive glasses that I haven't been able to use to them for backup. I mainly wear contact lenses but I haven't had any kind of backup in years. They are efficient, effective, knowledgeable, nice and friendly. I am so very happy I wandered into their location.

I used to go to the big name eye care centers but I am so happy I found this place. The customer service is excellent and they were great in helping me get exactly what I needed. Thank you all and looking forward to coming back in the future!

I had a single appointment here and the man who worked there was so incredibly mean, cruel, and vicious to me for absolutely no reason that I will never go back and I don't think anyone else should either. This was years ago and I still think about the things he said to me to this day. Absolutely terrible.

I've been using this place for years the last time I had to get new glasses was earlier this year and I called and they said I needed an appointment I got so worried i ended up going inside with my grandma to see if I could just get a new pair of glasses, they took me in and got me set up. Rarely did they give me any trouble or any bad pair of glasses.
