I wanted to give Dr. Ferreira a chance because she was new to the practice, but her mistakes cost me hundreds of dollars that I felt compelled to write this review.
I was perfectly happy with Dr. Budd. However, my husband and I were assigned to Dr. Ferreira when she joined the practice in 2024. She gave my husband the wrong prescription for his glasses and he went to the clinic twice to correct it. His glasses gave him headaches. Finally, my husband paid $150 out of pocket to see his old eye doctor for the correct prescription. We had already used our insurance benefits with Dr. Ferreira.
Dr. Ferreira prescribed me the wrong measurements for my contact lenses. I trusted her. For a whole year I dealt with uncomfortable lenses thinking my eyes were just dry. Finally, after visiting a new eye doctor yesterday, I was told that Dr. Ferreira gave me the wrong base curve. I wasted hundreds of dollars on contact lenses that didn't fit properly.
Not only did we waste money, but my husband and I had to drive 30 minutes to this clinic. When we moved, we stayed with the practice out of loyalty to Dr. Budd. We left because of Dr. Ferreira.

Highly recommend ECA! I've been a patient of Dr. Edmund's for 3 years, and the level of care has been top notch. Dr. Edmund always has a smile on, and is incredibly personable. It's hard to find Dr's today that show genuine care and attention to your concerns, and Dr. Edmund does just that. I couldn't be happier to have found ECA. The entire office is great too, from the ladies in the front to everyone in the optical department. I've stopped by the office more than a few times to have my glasses adjusted. Optical is always on their game and has me on my way in a matter of minutes. If you're looking for a top notch eye care center THIS IS THE PLACE!

Incompetent doctor and staff. I came in with a stye and Dr. Victoria Duque-Ferreira misdiagnosed me, prescribing the wrong medication for a condition I did not have. The staff also failed to send the prescription to my pharmacy in a timely manner. My condition worsened and I required eye surgery elsewhere. My new doctor confirmed the prescription was inappropriate for my symptoms. Avoid this office and go anywhere else.
