Staff are amazing because they are helpful, informative, and courteous. The optometrist is fantastic! He is intelligent, personable, hardworking, and at heart a really nice person. If you have questions or concerns about the process, medical terms or conditions, he teaches you in layman terms. This place is amazing.

Dr. Mingrone is great. Super nice and very patient. He never makes me feel rushed, and is always willing to answer any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and I very frequently do.

I needed eye exam and an extra pair of eye-glasses in a very short time and Dr. Mingrone's staff (Duwn) was very friend and kind to help me with the request. I was seen by Dr. Mingrone and I was please with his service to his patients. He was detailed in what he did to his patients. I would recommend you to see him, even just to check out how good he is.

I recently visited Lifetime Eyecare, as I knew my vision was degrading rapidly. From the second I walked into their office in Shelton, I was impressed at the friendliness of the staff. I actually felt 'greeted' and valued as a new patient. Dr. Mingrone explained the details of my exam in a very simplistic, yet thorough manner so that I clearly understood what needed to be addressed. I even learned some new things about the eye, as well! When it came time to select my frames, the office was near closing, however, the staff actually ENJOYED spending over an hour with me to ensure I was happy with my selection, and that the lenses were configured the best way possible. Lifetime Eyecare is truly a Best-in-Class practice. They genuinely care about the satisfaction of their patients, as evidenced by their Mission Statement proudly displayed in their office.
