I work in direct patient care, so understand my criticisms are coming from a place of understanding what it's like as a HCP. The wait times at this office are ridiculous. It's unacceptable to expect someone to wait over an hour in the waiting room. I'd be mortified and at the very least apologetic if I was this inconsiderate of my patient's time. My personal experience lies with Dr. Patton. Her behavior is scatter-brained and peculiar. It's almost as if she does not read her patient's charts or hasn't any clue what services her patients are presenting for. This did not inspire confidence in me that she had any desire or even the capability to provide professional level eye care, especially for me - who has a history of retinal detachment and an anxiety concerning my eyes that's sprung from that. The auxiliary staff was caring and polite and honestly I feel sorry for them. We can't control the expense of healthcare in the states, but we can insist that that level of care not be substandard by choosing to avoid places such as this.

I went in for my appointment the woman who did all the line reading with me and eye drops was awesome but, then when I went in for the measurement of my eyes etc. the woman was all about having her face in the computer screen and she was telling me to look to the left and right was just so not into her job, she had no personality. She really need to work on her people skills.

I never write negative reviews, because being a healthcare provider is difficult. But this office has earned an exception to that. My 90 year old mother had an appointment there today. They were 45 min late, but that can happen. However, the Dr. didn't even introduce herself or really speak to my mother during the exam, or talk her in any way to discuss findings. She handed her the prescription and walked out. The technician was asked to walk with my mom for safety after the dilation of her eyes and barely acknowledged the request. My mom is so sweet and would never say anything unkind about anyone, but she honestly was shaken up by this experience. I regret that I didn't go into the appointment with her.
Find another practice. It's nothing like the old Windham Eye group.

Dr. Woods totally botched my cataract surgery by not following my wishes to see better far away than close. He was at Windham Eye Care at the time. So do your due diligence with this Dr

First, reviews older than a year are likely of Windham Eye Group, which was sold to Solinsky EyeCare last year.
I had my first visit with new owners/location and found the front desk staff to be pleasant and efficient. I had a 15-20 minute wait (sadly, the usual at medical practices these days. Minus half a point). There were only a few people in the waiting area. The technician who did the initial screening/testing was friendly and took time to answer questions. She did ask if I had hearing issues and did I want a hearing evaluation? This has happened before in other offices and it always seems like the concern is for the bottom line (hearing aids must bring in the big dollars) rather than my health. I declined. Minus a half point for that.
Dr. Woods was efficient and thorough. (if you want a doctor to chat with, he's not the one. Find a friend elsewhere). I was in the office for a total of an hour and a half (arriving 10 minutes early) and was satisfied with the staff attitudes and care received.

They did not apologize even though they caused me great harm both materially and morally.
I was forced to go there twice because of given wrong numbers.
I am still not sure that the numbers they gave me are correct for second visit. I decided to go to another doctor in case something may goes wrong again. After that, I will place an order for glasses.

HORRIBLE experience. The 40-year-old physician practicing at this location was unprofessional. He thought it would be a great idea to come into the room where my grandmother was in, and not introduce himself. He proceeded to have an attitude saying that she didn't listen, when my mother was speaking for her. My grandmother suffers from hearing loss and has advance dementia causing any form of understanding to be limited. When my mother even tried to explain this to the doctor, he proceeded to say "Yeah, I'm not going to be able to do anything with her... she doesn't listen". I don't know what medical school he went to, but he certainly needs to go back and learn about being courteous to patients, having bedside manner. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!

Don't go here. Place is always packed. My eye doctor ms. Capstick very nice lady left and nobody ever told me till I called to confirm my appointment which cause she left I couldn't go to. No letter came in mail or did I ever get any phone call prior. The nurse for dr. woods was mean with my mother in which a social worker that brought her observed. Social worker had the same issue when bringing another client. They tried to bill my mother twice when she had insurance. The machines they use are very confusing. They take you to like 4 different areas to do different tests. They gave my mother wrong bifocal prescription cause my mother didn't understand the eye machines. She had to go twice. My mother doesn't have best insurance and since they messed up, her insurance wouldn't cover it for at least another year for a better prescription bifocal. They wanted to charge my mother for glasses that were unbranded for 400+ bucks. I ended up getting her nice glasses that were a name brand for way way cheaper and better quality. I now go to a new eye doctor and I don't ever want to go back to Windham Eye Group again.
