Dr. Kolker was absolutely wonderful! He's superb as a physician but also friendly, available, never in a rush, and I looked forward to my appointments with him. He explained all my cataract surgical options clearly and then performed *brilliant* surgery following which, for the first time in my life, I've been able to see without glasses, contacts, or readers! It's life-changing and I'll always be grateful to Dr. Kolder... I would recommend him highly and without reservation!

I'm very satisfied with my choice to have my cataract surgery done by Dr Kolker. The staff at EDW are excellent as well. They were very helpful in choosing the best IOL's for me. Dr Kolker made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure for each eye. My distance and mid vision is 20/20. I only need glasses for near vision reading and detail work. No glasses needed for phone or computer. I highly recommend Dr Kolker.

Had a trauma induced cataract and saw Dr. Kolker. I didn't know what to expect for cataracts but Dr. Kolker talked me through the whole process. Him and his team were phenomenal in making sure I was aware of all the options, steps, costs, and outcomes. I felt taken care of the whole time from assessment to surgery to post-op. I have had an exceptionally amazing experience with Dr. Kolker and his team. I found out I had congenital cataracts about a decade ago from another eye doctor and had put off surgery since then due to worry about the complexities of my type of cataract. After finally getting to the point where my cataracts were making life more difficult, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kolker who walked me through everything from my surgical/lens options to potential complications all while using easy to understand explanations. Due to my cataract type there were increased chances of complications that would mean I would not be able to get the type of lens I wanted. Dr. Kolker set appropriate expectations and worked with me to create a back up plan on lens type pending the outcome of the laser surgery. I was very lucky that during surgery we were able to input the lens type I wanted but having the back up plan definitely helped ease any anxiety I had. The entire team were great before, during, and after surgery. They made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had during the process. Dr. Kolker would even come see me during pre-op to talk before both surgeries and to make sure that I still understood what the plan was and ask if I had any questions. At my post-op appointments, I'm still given plenty of time to ask questions. I feel like everyone on the team, from his office to the surgical center, are all rooting for me and wishing me luck through recovery. Honestly my only regret is that I waited so long for this. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kolker and his team!

Dr Kolker is an excellent surgeon. He listens and explains everything well and in details. I would recommend him without any hesitation!

My father is 88 years old. Dr. Kolker was extremely patient, answered all questions, explained step by step what possibly was causing my father's eye issues. Would highly recommend him.
