I dropped into Apex Optical to see if they could repair an old pair of sunglasses of mine. These were old like my Grandfather was likely wearing them in the 70's. As soon as i entered i was greeted and advised that someone would be right with me. Ricardo ended up taking a look and within seconds was sure he could assist and even spotted some additional "upkeep" that would work for me. In a matter of minutes, he repaired the sunglasses and even tightened some screws and whatnot. I left with my glasses repaired and in much better shape than when i entered. Ricardo charged me nothing for the repair! I was impressed with the customer service and Ricardo's expert grasp of glasses. He could see on sight what needed to be done and even did more than i even knew was needed. Highly recommend this shop for you eyeglasses needs!

Good selection of frames from good producers and FANTASTIC customer service. I bought frames here and had the lenses installed elsewhere for insurance reasons. I brought the frames back multiple times for fit adjustments and had nose pads attached all free of charge. Real committment to customer satisfaction!

Apex will not be the cheapest option, but for the unique selection of designer glasses and excellent customer service I received, it is a store I will continue to return to for new glasses. They will work with you to make sure you are happy with your new frames.

We have used Apex for many years and trusted them. Unfortunately, the most recent interaction proved very disappointing by the fact my wife was upcharged for a lens treatment she did not request- several hundred $$. The lady helping her simply said the new lenses would be made the same as previous (done by Apex), with just the updated prescription. The price was rather shocking, but we could not recall previous costs and wrote it off to inflation. Only when the lenses were delivered (a week later) did we see the anti-glare coating had been added, an unrequested treatment that nearly doubled the cost. This may have been a mistake, but it seemed very underhanded and no apologies or explanations were offered. This has significantly soured our feelings about Apex.

I came in with a tough glasses repair issue, and they were able to fix it quickly and very well. Great team!

I started coming here when I first moved to DC at the suggestion of a friend and have found it the best eyeglass provider I've been to in years. As I've gotten older my prescription has gotten more complex, and Marco has been an absolute whiz at fitting me with glasses that meet my needs. I am frankly in awe of his abilities and his understanding of how to meet his customers' needs. Getting new glasses used to be a stressful experience for me but Marco has made it SO much easier -- and it's always a pleasure to go in and see him!

Very grateful to Apex Optical for a repair of a pair of glasses. A stem for a beloved pair of my family's glasses had broken, with a hard to fix and hard to find part connecting the hinge with the stem. I called at least five stores today, and only one could help us - Apex Optical! They did a beautiful job, my sibling was really pleased. We had a women's pair repaired, but I wouldn't hesitate with anyone's glasses. During the pandemic they also are performing very safe repairs, and that makes a huge difference. My thanks to this location, highly recommended pros that brought our pair back to life! Marco helped with our repair and it was a really really professional job. Really happy. Thank you!

Came in for an adjustment. Everyone was professional. New glasses are adjusted the pressure on my nose is no longer there. Been wearing the glasses for 3 hours now and no headache. Thank you again. Will be sure to come here for my next eye exam and new prescription
