I was new to the area but had to have cataract surgery. A neighbor recommended Dr Butrus to me. I was very nervous about going to a new doctor and trusting him with my eyes. I also have high myopia which makes the surgery more challenging. But I could not have found a better eye doctor! I am very happy with the results after 8 weeks now and hope everything will stay so good ((again, my high myopia is a challenge). Dr Butrus is a very caring, personable physician who really wants to help and heal his patients. He is also a very good surgeon and tries his best to get great results. I definitely recommend him for all your eye doctor needs!!

Dr. Butrus has been my eye doctor since I was a kid, and I can't say enough good things about the care I've gotten over the years. Dr. Butrus performed my eye surgery and the results were great. Even after all these years, every visit feels just as welcoming as the first. Dr. Butrus's dedication and expertise truly set him apart. If you're looking for an eye doctor who genuinely cares, I highly recommend Dr. Butrus.

He is the most amazing eye doctor I have ever seen. I have serious eye health issues if you can see him. Do it! I strongly recommend him. I am so happy that when I moved to DC I started my eyecare with him. He is very good at what he does. His staff is wonderful. I can't say enough how lucky I am to have found him.

Dr. Butrus has been my eye doctor for couple years and he's been nothing but amazing!!! He did my eye surgery in January 2020 and I couldn't be thankful enough to have him as my doctor. He's very caring, comfortable to talk to and most definitely knowledgeable in what he does. Best eye doctor in the DMV!

Initially, my mother was referred to Dr. Butrus by her personal Ophthalmologist for minor eye surgery. Upon meeting Dr. Butrus, I was very pleased with his knowledge, care and concern for my mother. The appointment date for the surgery was promptly scheduled, and, Dr. Butrus was prompt and ready for the surgery two days later. He is a skilled Ophthalmologist and did his best to put my mother and me at ease. Thus far, the surgery went well upon her follow up exam and his same care and concern was there and greatly appreciated by both of us.

Been with Dr. Butrus since 1998 the great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone that needs an eye doctor. I bought my husband to this doctor office and he could not see hardly out of his eyes and now he see great. Thank you Dr.Butrus

My mother has been a patient of Dr Butrus' for about 25 years, and I've been a patient for five or six. He's a nice man and a terrific doctor, and his staff are sweet and helpful. Having finally elected to pursue LASIK, I've been thrilled with Dr. Butrus' quality of care. He made sure I was fully informed on the nature of the procedure, did an excellent job with the surgery itself, and has been wonderfully responsive and thorough during my follow-up visits. I can't believe how wonderful my eyesight is now, and I've had no complications or concerns of any kind. He's always been an excellent ophthalmologist for me and my mother, and I highly recommend him for his competence and his friendliness; I particularly recommend him to anyone considering LASIK or similar corrective surgeries.

Excellent doctor with a great and caring staff. I have been a patient of Dr. Butrus for well over 20 years and have never had a complaint about his or his staff professionalism or service.
