Dr. Kenneth Schor

Dr Schor is great. I've got some tricky eye pressure problems, I found him, and he is definitely on the case. He's professional, friendly, listens, and explains. It's nice to have someone I can trust totally.

I've seen a lot of eye doctors throughout my (formerly) extremely nearsighted life. I've seen doctors for cataracts, strabismus (double vision), retinas, and other issues. For a long time, I went to ophthalmology at GWU MFA, and had one, woman doctor who was excellent, but fled the city several years ago. I stuck with GWU-MFA even after she left, with the final straw being left waiting for my appointment for 2+ hours, and going to ask the front desk when I would see the doctor, and found the office had closed and everyone had left. Not one person had the courtesy to let me know. So I moved on to EDOW and can assure you that you won't have the same issue when you see Dr. Kenneth Schor. I've never had to wait 15+ minutes, and the office is very efficient and streamlined. They definitely know what they are doing, and they see a wide range of eye issues. They have a lot of fancy medical devices to map your eye and look into them. But Dr. Schor is why you're reading this. Just go see him and make up your own mind. In short, he's great, young, energetic, super smart (see his bio!), and is one of the nicest--if not the nicest--doctors I've ever had. If you fall into his specialty, you can't go wrong.
