Georgetown Optician is hands down the best optical boutique I've ever visited. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and stylish they take the time to help you find frames that perfectly fit your face and personality. The store itself feels like a blend of luxury, modern, elegant, and welcoming. Their frame selection is top-tier, featuring both iconic designers and unique independent brands you won't find anywhere else. The optometrist was thorough and professional, explaining every step of the eye exam and making sure I felt comfortable throughout. I left feeling confident, cared for, and honestly excited to wear my new glasses (which is rare!). Hey guys take it from me, Georgetown Optician is the best! I have been a client of the mother company in Georgetown since 2002. But since moving to Southeast Washington in 2002 I have been shopping at their Eastern Market location where George, Mary, Victor, and Gabby, the latest addition to the staff, provide truly exceptional and attentive service. And that is before I mention the unique eyeglass frames available and on display. Love it!

Dr. Sophie Ali is amazing! I woke up this morning with floaters in my left eye-- tiny specks that looked like a cobwebs. I was so frightened. Dr. Sophie took me right away, gave me an exam and then walked me to the retina clinic around the corner. I had a laser treatment on my left eye and can see so much better. She was calm, efficient and comforting. I needed that emotional support. George and Mary nicely welcomed me to the office and George even escorted Dr. Sophie and me to the retina clinic. I was so lucky to find Georgetown Opticians on Penn Avenue SE Wwhen I needed them. All Americans deserve the kind of quality eye care I got today regardless of their income.

I went to four different eyeglass frame places before going here. The level of service that Victor provided made such a difference. He explained why certain frames were best for my face, nose, skin tone etc. While other places are cheaper, the customer service and high-quality products here make it all worthwhile.

My wife and I stopped here by chance after a trip to Eastern Market this summer and bought a pair of reading glasses for her. We were so impressed with the selection of frames and the attentive, knowledgeable service that we have since bought several more pairs of prescription frames there and intend to make the store our choice for all our future eyeglass needs. Outstanding!

Armando was a delight, he helped me pick out beautiful frames that suit my face. He is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about glasses and will find you many pairs that work with your face shape, coloring, and style. Strongly recommend.

I stopped by yesterday, and they had a next day appointment to get my eyes checked. I arrived early and they saw me immediately. Everyone out front was warm and professional. The doctor was efficient and her technology seemed state of the art (though I'm admittedly no expert). Light-filled, modern shop with beautiful merchandise. When I do need glasses, I'll be back.

My first day in DC & I broke my purse. A lady on the street suggested Georgetown Optical due to the tools they have. I was shocked and surprised when MIKE offered to help me!!! I'm coming back to get glasses!!!!
