If you need eye glasses, this is a good option. Staff are helpful and they have a wide selection of glasses to pick from. The store is well organized and clean. Easy-to-find street parking is nearby.

My experience today was very good. The doctor was very nice and informative, I didn't feel rushed and she answered all of my questions. Robert was amazing!! He was very professional, nice and helped me pick out the cutest frames. I was able to leave with my glasses same day. Definitely will be returning to this exact location for myself and my son.

I look forward to my annual visit with Dr. Richardson because I always feel seen and heard. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and works to ensure you're comfortable--a bonus for those of us who were glasses and contacts. If you have the opportunity to work with Robert, you're in for a treat; he gently guides you to your perfect pair. I promise you'll look and feel like a million bucks after your session. I had a great experience while getting my eyes checked. The doctor was really awesome he patiently answered all of my questions and I had a lot. Next is the fantastic Mr. Robert who assisted me with finding the perfect pair of frames he was so good that I was able to get 2 pair and not break the bank. Thank you both for the great experience and keep up the great work good customer service is extremely important!! Kudos

The doctor and his assistant were fantastic, but the staff out front leaves a lot to be desired. One employee was rolling her eyes at an elderly customer, and was later rude to me when I simply asked for clarification about my prescription. I've had more courteous and professional interface at random gas stations than at this store. Not going back.

My experience at MyEyeDr. on Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, overall was great. Angela was the technician that assisted me. She was kind, friendly, yet professional. She answered all my questions patiently and even provided me with information I did not know I needed u til she told me. However, Dr. Richardson was rude, impatient and seemed offended when I asked her questions about my examination. This was the first time I have had this experience at any MyEyeDr. location. It was quite jarring. I would recommend them as long as Dr. D. Richardson does not do your examination.

I've been a patient of the MyEyeDr a block away from this location for years, and have always had good experiences there. Unfortunately my location was closed on a day I needed help, so I came here - and I see why it has such lower reviews. Basically, my next supply of contacts had a delay in shipping, so I ran out of sample lenses just a few days short. I went to this location to see if they'd spare me a couple sets of my prescription to get me through to the delivery date. My office has done this for me before with no issue so I thought it'd be ok to ask...but not only did this office refuse me, they treated me like I was an idiot for even asking, saying their samples are reserved for patients that need them, not for purchase (I had offered to pay out of politeness, even though the other location gave me extras for free). I tried to explain I was a patient, but the woman just kept repeating "we don't do that here" loud enough for the whole office to hear, speaking to me like I was a nuisance. I understand if their location maybe has a stricter policy, but there was no need to treat a paying customer and loyal patient like that just for asking. It felt like she wasn't even listening as I was trying to explain the situation. While I'm sure the doctors here are fine, if you want kinder staff and better service, go to the other MyEyeDr a block away.

Anjela is definitely the expert to request when picking out frames. She is very knowledgeable about the products and she has great advice on the style that's best for you.
