I attempted to order a pair of reading glasses in October. The order was twice delayed and I was told I would not have them until January. I cancelled the order and will never return. The staff is not up to providing a minimum level of service.

This is an established optometry practice, where the doctors have been there for a long time. The staff are highly competent and great at customer service -- not like the chain stores. I needed to update the lenses in a pair of glasses and they were so helpful in picking the right features for the way I use my glasses. They came quickly and the pickup process was quick and helpful. Definitely recommend this practice!

My Eye Doctor just continues to impress me. They are honest, patient, and always want the best eye health for you. Dr. Lim was thorough, discussed my needs, and had reviewed my chart prior to my exam. Pamela also made my day reviewing my prescription, discussing my insurance coverage as well as my options for contacts and glasses.

While the eye care I received was fine, the billing experience has been a nightmare. MyEyeDr confirmed my coverage with my insurance carrier and presented me with an estimate. I specifically selected eye-wear that would be 100% covered by my policy - as determined by MyEyeDr. Unfortunately, for me, the information they provided was completely false (according to my insurance carrier) and now I'm stuck with a $400 bill and glasses that I hate.

I had a fantastic experience at MyEyeDr. on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The entire team was professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient from start to finish. The office was clean, welcoming, and well-organized, making the visit smooth and stress-free. A special shout-out to Christy, who truly went above and beyond! Her warmth, attention to detail, and willingness to answer all my questions made a real difference. She made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process and helped me choose the perfect pair of glasses with patience and great style advice.

Dr. Lim was very thorough during my eye exam, taking the time to explain everything in detail and answer all my questions. His expertise and attention to detail were evident, and I never felt rushed. He provided helpful recommendations for my vision needs and ensured I left with the best possible prescription. The entire staff was very helpful and I am glad that I found d this office.

Really disappointed with the service I received from the front desk staff. I finished my appointment and was also looking to get glasses. There were a lot of clients milling around and I had taken off work to attend this appointment, so I decided to check out and come back on another date to purchase glasses. I went to the front desk -- the employee at the front desk ignored me for a few minutes and then asked what I needed (without making eye contact, so I didn't even know she was talking to me). I asked her if I could check out and she rudely claimed that "I hadn't been seen yet." When I told her I had indeed been seen she looked incredulous and told me she was dealing with another patient and to sit and someone would be with me. Keep in mind prior to this she was being rude with an elderly gentleman, which is a red flag. The woman at the other desk who handles billing and glasses fitting was also passive aggressive and told me to "bring patience" to my next appointment after I paid. The whole encounter was uncomfortable and unpleasant. I felt like I was being targeted for wanting to conclude my appointment and come back another time, as though this isn't reasonable and people don't have busy schedules. No complaints with the doctor - he was great. It seems like there is a history of complaints directed at the support staff and a general decline in quality after MyEyeDr bought the practice? I won't be going back to this location. I mistakenly thought the high reviews were indicative of a high quality eye doctor, but as others have said, those reviews appear to be for the prior practice. I will take my business elsewhere. If you are considering this location, I would implore you to read the more critical reviews to get a sense of how unprofessional and rude the support staff is. Every time a negative review crops up, there's a canned response from MyEye apologizing for the transgression - but I think these are empty words and purely for show. Please don't waste your time or money here. You won't be treated with respect or decorum.
