My experience at My Eye Dr. Navy Yard D.C. was exceptional from start to finish. This was my first time selecting a pair of Persol optical glasses, and the staff could not have been more helpful. They took their time walking me through different frames, explaining what worked best for my face shape, and making sure I felt confident in my choice. The eye exam itself was incredibly thorough. They didn't just check my vision. They explained everything clearly and gave me practical resources to help maintain my eye health moving forward. It really felt like they cared about me understanding my own eye wellness, not just getting a prescription. A special shout-out to Ash, who was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making the whole experience smooth. Their energy made the process enjoyable instead of overwhelming. You can really see how General Manager Kevin's leadership shines through his team. Everyone was professional, welcoming, and clearly committed to providing top-tier service. I'll definitely be back.

My experience was fantastic. The first visit was easy to schedule, with fast and friendly service while still being very thorough during my check out process. I came back a week later for a contact class with Dorion and it was so great! He was the best teacher and I was in and out in no time! Made the entire experience worthwhile.

I went to the Navy Yard location to find this specific frames I've been wanting and Dorion helped me through the entire process, he called other locations until he found one that still had them available, he ordered them with my prescription and they were ready way earlier than said. I am 100% satisfied with the excellent customer service provided here and overall the whole team is very welcoming and nice :) thank you!!! Will be back again and 100% recommend this location and working with Dorion, who listened and answered all my questions.

Dr. Tran was fantastic and answered every question I could think of. She was very thorough, and I will definitely be booking any future eye exams with her. Ash helped me pick the perfect pair of frames - I'm picky, and it usually takes me an hour to find a pair I like. He listened to my preferences and found the perfect pair in less than 5 minutes. The staff at this location is friendly and create a welcoming environment for patients!

Generally great experience with the doctor & exam. My 1 grievance is I called before making an appointment asking for price of exam and contact fitting, the woman told me $100-150, i asked if the fitting was an additional cost to the exam (because they usually are & I wanted a grand total to anticipate what i would be paying) she told me it's all together $100-150. I confirmed with her the price was exam & contact fittings, she assured me that was correct. As I'm paying the exam is $100 & the fitting for contacts was $125. I don't know if she genuinely didn't know or didn't care but if you're paying out of pocket it is nice to know what to expect.

Got an eye exam and my first pair of glasses from here recently. Dr. Phan made the exam very easy to understand and Ash was super helpful with assisting me find a pair that I liked and helping me find the best deal between using my insurance and store discounts. Antonia at the front desk was super friendly also! Will definitely be back when I need a second pair.

This My Eye Dr location is awesome. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. From the moment I entered into the establishment until the time I left, I was treated to VIP service. Dr. Tran was expedient and very customer oriented. Dorion was extremely helpful in completing my purchase and even resolved an issue from a prior location. Wonderful establishment and will be returning.

I just had my very first adult eye exam, and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience! Picking out my new glasses was a game-changer, and I am beyond thrilled with how comfortable they are. Every penny spent was worth it! The care and attentiveness I received were truly unmatched. From the friendly front desk crew to the thorough exam, choosing my glasses, and even the payment process, everything was handled with such respect and grace. It felt like I was connecting with friends! I loved every moment of it!
