OVATION Eye Institute

After my ophthalmologist of nearly 50 years retired, I found Dr. Burris through a Google search, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Dr. Burris was awesome--professional, courteous, and very thorough. He took the time to explain each test and the results in a way I could easily understand. His office was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I truly felt comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Burris. .

This is not the eye doctor for me. I will start by saying they might be better at specialty eye care, but should not be used for your typical annual exam. When making my appointment I said I needed my annual eye exam so I could order contacts. I repeated when I came in that I was only there to get contacts. I didn't have any other concerns and didn't think my prescription had changed. This doctor gave me a prescription that is far weaker than my previous one. My prescription has not changed in the past two years and has been confirmed by two different eye doctors. In fact, the prescription was so much lower that it was similar to a prescription I had when I couldn't pass the DMV eye exam. He also gave me the same prescription in both eyes which I've never had before. I did not want to get my eyes dilated at this appointment as it didn't feel necessary for getting contacts, and he ignored that. It wasn't until after my eyes were dilated that they informed me they do not order/sell contacts. Not that I'd want them, because I don't trust this prescription. So now I'm contactless, and will have to go to a different doctor and probably pay out of pocket to get a usable prescription. I did not feel listened to and I really only wanted contacts, so they should have denied my appointment or been upfront that they couldn't help me. Wish me luck with the 1-800 Contacts virtual eye exam.

I recently visited Ovation Eye Institute, and it was an incredible experience. As we get older, taking good care of our eyes becomes even more important, and it can be frustrating to have to visit multiple locations to get everything done, especially when using insurance. At Ovation Eye Institute, everything was handled in one convenient place. The office itself is beautiful and easy to reach by bus. It's a clean, high-tech facility with a professional staff that made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Dr. Burris was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to educate me about the state of my eyes, explaining everything he was doing and what he observed. If you want to ensure your eyes are in top condition, especially as an older adult, I highly recommend visiting Ovation Eye Institute and seeing Dr. Burris. He truly knows what he's doing!

My experience here was very disappointing. I went to Dr. Burris twice. For prisms for double vision. Not once, but twice, he wrote the prescription for the wrong eye. And the prescription strength he wrote was not even close to what was needed, according to another doctor. I called the office twice to ask about the second diagnosis and he never called me back. I own a company and would never treat anyone like that. Very disappointing. Could not recommend them to anyone.

Excellent ambiance, clean, friendly and professional staff. I like to see the diversity there and the fact that they make all their frames is impressive. Good local business to support. They were able to fit me in for an urgent matter. The doc was knowledgeable and professional and resolved my issues! Tech savvy office as well! Look forward to doing business with them again! This place is great. Everyone is friendly and very professional and high tech. Get there a little early for registration because if your appointment is at 11:30 you will be seen at that time. It has been a long time since I have been to a doctor who cares about his patients. Dr. Burris not only checks your eyes but explains every step of the process.

I should've known I'd receive stellar treatment when I recognized Dr Chris name because my favorite youngest sons name is Christopher and he's very thorough but anyway I'm babbling on. This practice separates itself from the box chains with its supreme customer service. From the moment I called to my exit the staff meet my needs. The frame selection alone surpasses your expectations combined with the product knowledge and the expertise with the reasons we met, detailing why my conditions are severe as they are Dr. Chris Burris explained so much to me I may not need glasses after all however I'd still purchase some profiles hence I've been wearing them my entire life.
