The Dr. is rude and doesn't do her job correctly. My daughter has astigmatism and she didn't even catch it or didn't write it in prescription. Everyone there is shady, rude and incompetent. Do not go here!

I had a wonderful experience, the staff were nice and I felt comfortable. My glasses came back quick and I have no complaints!!

This doctor is always running at least an hour behind schedule. The extreme unprofessional service is disheartening. Do Not come to this office unless you have no other options.

Shady I asked for a detailed receipt of service and I kept getting balance receipt. I'm just not understanding black owned businesses with such attitude and body language like I'm asking for blood. It's sad ..great work on frames and lens however gotta get better with customer request. P.s. After my last transaction "Providence Optical " Never get my business again. Warmly Steven

In my years as a patient, Providence Opticians has always given excellent customer service. Their staff is kind and knowledgeable and great frames! My prescription is always correct. Affordable and fashionable.

I am writing this review out of sheer frustration and disappointment with the abysmal service I have received from Providence Opticians, Inc. I placed an order for a pair of glasses two months ago, and to my disbelief, I have yet to receive them. Not only has the company failed to fulfill my order within a reasonable timeframe, but their customer service's handling of the situation has been nothing short of a nightmare. It's important to note that my intention is not to simply vent my frustration, but to warn potential customers about the kind of treatment they might expect from Providence Opticians Inc. I have reached out to their customer service multiple times over the past weeks, seeking answers about the status of my order. Sadly, their responses have been inconsistent, vague, and often completely unhelpful. Promises of "looking into the matter" and "expediting the delivery" have proven to be empty words, as I still have not received my glasses. What's even more infuriating is that despite their glaring failure to deliver the product, the company has categorically refused to provide a refund. This is not only unethical but downright fraudulent. It's appalling to think that a company can take money for a product they fail to deliver and then withhold a refund as well. This kind of business practice is unacceptable and should serve as a red flag for anyone considering making a purchase from Providence Opticians Inc. I strongly urge anyone reading this review to think twice before placing an order with Providence Opticians. My experience has been a lesson in the importance of thoroughly researching companies before making a purchase. I regret not having done so myself, and I am paying the price for it. At this point, I can only hope that my review will prevent others from falling into the same trap. To sum up, my experience with Providence Opticians Inc. has been utterly disappointing. Two months of waiting for a product that never arrived, coupled with the company's refusal to issue a refund, has left me frustrated and disillusioned. I implore anyone considering doing business with this company to steer clear and save themselves the trouble. This level of service is simply not worth anyone's time, money, or sanity.

Walked in and the receptionist stared a hole into my chest with the burning contempt of a thousand scorned suns. No one answers the phone. Voice mailbox is full. Rude employees. Dirty and disorganized. Possible front business. She told me they were aware the voicemail box was full, she was not sorry or going to do anything about it. My favorite part was when she followed me into the streets to continue yelling at me that they had been in business for forty years, and I should worry about my own problems. I'd be shocked if they lasted another 40 days. I went out of my way to support a local business and this is what I get.

Staff does not return calls and are very rude when clients actually call them on the phone; turn around time for glasses are not honestly stated (it's been three weeks and Im still waiting). One would do better having prescriptions filled on-line. Totally unprofessional people working there who have absolutely NO customer service skills. Do Not take your business to the 12th Street NE location. You will be completely repulsed by those individuals who are suppose to be servicing you. They deserve zero stars.
