Dr Garr and her team are exceptional, I've been coming here for over 10 years for my contacts and annual exams. Alex in particular is outstanding with amazing customer service and really works with you to get the best possible combination of benefits and out of pocket cost!

We have always had a wonderful encounter with Dr. Garr. She provides thorough examinations and also shows genuine concern. Her expertise and willingness to listen and discuss as well as taking her time to explain my eye conditions to me is what keeps me coming back to Vision Source. Today I'm writing this review because of the current manager Lajeral. I called to schedule two appointments with Dr. Garr, and she answered the phone. Lajeral is one of a kind, she is professional, very patient, polite and helpful while still being pleasant. The dates I wanted were unavailable, but she went above and beyond to help me find a suitable appointment. She is incredible and Vision Source/ MyEyeDr are lucky to have her. Thank you so much Lajeral, you are awesome!

I have been seeing Dr. Garr for several years. She has taken me through my late forties and into my early fifties, helping navigate all the annoyances of age related failing eyesight with curiosity and compassion. She is a real problem solver and talks through concerns and options -- she is a pro with options! -- clearly and thoughtfully, but also speedily and concisely. I always have good experiences with the staff as well, front desk and technicians. I don't really shop for frames here (I primarily wear contact lenses) so I can't speak to that aspect, except to say the staff who replace my glasses lenses periodically are thorough and want to make sure I get the best service and the most out of my insurance coverage. I would recommend Dr. Garr's practice for anybody, but can especially speak to being someone who has okay but not great eyesight and modest eye health issues, and wants to work with a doctor who is on your side for maintaining the best possible eyesight for the activities you enjoy or need to have optimal vision for.

I really, really like Dr. Garr - I don't live or work in D.C. but I go out of my way to visit her. Friendly, approachable and happy to answer any questions I may have. Highly recommend.

Julia was amazing! She was super attentive, knowledgeable, with exceptional patient care. Her personality is also genuine.

We were visiting the DC area on vacation and I left contact lenses at home. The office was able to supply me with what I needed and were amazingly understanding and helpful. I highly recommend this office if you live in the DC area.
