Visionary Eye Doctors truly has an exceptional team. Their service is compassionate, attentive, and consistently makes me feel valued--not just as a patient, but as a person. Dr. Jesus Martinez is an outstanding and incredibly kind cataract surgeon. Dr. Madina is an excellent glaucoma specialist. Dr. Saeed and Dr. Pereira always make me feel comfortable and well cared for each time I visit. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for excellent eye care.

I had an excellent first experience with Visionary Eye Doctors. I've been having trouble with one eye and when I called for an appointment next week, the scheduler took the initiative to ask about my symptoms, recognized they required attention sooner, and fit me in to see Dr. Moainie the next morning. In the office the reception staff was friendly and professional. The waiting time to get started was quite short. The woman who checked my vision was both skilled and very pleasantly upbeat. Dr. Moainie is clearly a highly experienced doctor who carefully listens to his patients, and helps to address their concerns. He was able to diagnose the problem with my eye quickly. I am very glad I found this practice!

I had one of the most frustrating and poorly handled experiences at this office. I arrived early for my appointment, signed in at the kiosk, and waited far longer than expected with no communication. After some time, I approached the secretary with the long curly hair to confirm whether I needed to sign in with her directly. She told me, "No, have a seat," so I did--only to be called up 30 minutes later and informed that I would now have to wait an additional two hours because they had overbooked. The waiting area was completely packed, and when I asked for an estimated time to be seen, no one could give me a clear answer. I requested to speak with a supervisor, and Joanna explained that several staff members had called off, which was causing the extensive delays. While I understand staffing issues happen, the lack of organization and communication was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the secretary removed me from the waitlist simply because I questioned why the wait was so long. I was given two completely contradictory explanations, and when I told her I could wait 30 more minutes but not two hours, she still made no effort to help or clarify. I ultimately waited without ever being seen. Throughout the entire interaction, I felt dismissed and spoken to in a condescending manner. What made it even more upsetting was watching another patient--whose appointment was scheduled after mine--get taken in immediately after voicing his concerns. It was clear that the staff picks and chooses who they give respect or consideration to. This situation was handled extremely poorly from start to finish. Joanne offered no solutions, no exceptions, and no accountability. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy made this an incredibly disappointing experience, and I left without receiving any care at all. In addition to all this, the lady on the phone quoted me a $100 eye exam for contacts and the receptionist quoted me $130-220. Very messy place... they like testing people's patience.

I'm a long-time patient of Dr. Sarezky and trust his care, but yesterday I had a bad experience with the practice. I wasn't notified that my Tuesday appointment was canceled because of the snow storm. I called the day before to check on the appointment and the person who answered (after a long, long wait) said that the clinic was not yet closed for Tuesday and I should plan to keep my appointment. If the clinic closed, I would be notified. I didn't receive a call and in fact received an email early Tuesday morning to confirm the appointment. I checked the website, which said they were open. It wasn't easy getting to a 9 am appointment, but I carefully tromped through icy snow and made it via Metro. What a rude shock to find the door locked and no one there. In this case, their patient communication systems failed. I hope their management can address this so it doesn't happen to someone else.

I just severed my five-year relationship with Visionary Eye Doctors for the following reasons: the LONG wait times during an office visit; the LONG wait to speak to anyone by phone or to receive a call back; the irresponsible way the office did not inform my wife that the office would be closed after the snow storm, even though the website said it would be open. I have had a very good experience with Dr. Daniel Sarezky for several years. He is a superb doctor and I wish he were with a practice that treated its patients with more respect.

My experience with Visionary Eye Doctors was excellent. Friendly, professional help from all. They offered an appointment for my urgent request without any wait time. Kudos to all, especially Dr. Moainie.

Hated it. Appointment was at 1:30pm, arrived at 1:10pm and didn't see the physician until 3pm, just for him to not hear me out regarding my preferences and concerns. Highly do not recommend and this is coming from a ferried hygienist. Sucks I couldn't get the care I needed, was completely brushed off. Dr. Sarezyk sucks

Don't be fooled by the Google rating of this practice. Worst eye doctor experience I've ever had. They are so incompetent and bureaucratic. Wasted me hours on the phone and in the office - and even rescheduled my appointment once - because they couldn't figure out how to process my insurance. By the way, it was a very standard insurance, and another practice I went to sorted out right away. This office literally feels like a scam. Stay away.
