I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received at your G Street location during my visit yesterday. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted and immediately checked in. Abena, staff member at the front desk was friendly, efficient, and thorough -- she explained my waiver clearly, guided me through the paperwork, and handled the preliminary testing with professionalism and care. The entire process felt seamless and welcoming. After only a very short wait, I was called back by Dr. Isayas Tekie. He was exceptional -- professional, kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He took the time to explain my options, answered all of my questions thoughtfully, and made me feel completely comfortable trying progressive contact lenses, something I had previously been hesitant to consider. His patience and expertise truly made a difference and gave me the confidence to try something new. I have been coming to this location for at least five years (likely longer), and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had. My appointment was at 3:00 PM and I was walking out the door by 3:30 PM. That level of efficiency, without ever feeling rushed, is impressive. Please extend my gratitude to Dr. Tekie and Abena for their professionalism, kindness, and excellent care. Experiences like this are exactly why I continue to choose Visionworks. Sincerely, P. Lloyd

The staff was helpful in getting me the right frame and also did a great job of fixing my old frame. Exe exams by staff and doctor went well. Every step was explained properly. The doctor and the support staff had a great attitude. The overall atmosphere in this office was great. I would recommend this office to family and friends.

The present doctor was very thorough. The receptionist was knowledgeable. There was a 10 minute wait from my appointment time though the place was empty. They have a very limited selection of frames within each brand, and don't offer much variation in color, size from the display.

I had a fantastic experience getting my eye care examination at VisionWorks! The team was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommend their services!

They sold me a brand of expensive contacts, pushing them with a large cash back rebate offer. Even though they gave me the rebate paperwork, the rebate was not applicable for purchases made through them. Total Scam. Never called me when my son's glasses arrived at the store. They could have use my insurance for either contacts or glasses, and applied it to the contacts without asking me; my bill was potentially $200 more that it would have been if they had used my insurance for the glasses instead. They scammed me for several hundred dollars. They asked my teen son to authorize a cataract test that costed extra (and called the cost a "copay" and not an additional charge.) They added extra charge coating on his glasses lenses by calling it "prescribed by the doctor". I left with an $850 bill after my insurance. Complete price gauge on several levels and totally unprofessional.

Friendly and helpful staff! Good selection of glasses at reasonable prices. Very easy to use my VSP Insurance.

The doctor and gentleman at the front desk were great, however the African American woman at the front desk was disrespectful, didn't work but kept interrupting and dismissive. She rushed me out by being rude so I didn't get the results that I paid extra for and she had a really bad attitude.
