Today was my first visit to Visionworks. I appreciated the attentiveness of the associate who checked me in and the thoroughness of the eye exam.
I did wait almost 45 minutes after my appointment time to get my exam. I will follow up once I receive my glasses.
Update: I picked up my glasses today (8 days from my order), after receiving a text that they had arrived. I didn't have to wait to have them fitted, and the technician did a very good job adjusted for me.
They appear to be high-quality glasses. I am definitely seeing much better.

I'd honestly just go elsewhere. Everyone who works here is nice enough but it's so poorly run. Like others have said, there's often only one employee working there and they just leave. Today, for example, the store opens at 10 and I arrived at 10:30 to a note on the door saying "back at 10:40." The employee had obviously left for coffee. Additionally the eye doctor told me "your vision hasn't changed! Let's leave it the same!" And then gave me a different prescription. When I went to get it resolved the next day, the doctor wasn't there so they made me schedule another follow up a week later.
I'll also note that the vision exam room smells heavily of cigarettes, so for those with sensitive eyes/allergies, please beware. You're better off finding a real ophthalmologist for any medical concerns, and a well staffed optometrist for glasses.

I have High praise for Visionworks at Tenley Circle. Every single staff person is knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly, and professional. The optometrist helped me understand the prescription and process. This group is definitely my self-assigned vision go-to. Plus I like my glass frames!

Great experience and will be coming here regularly for my eye appointments! This is the best vision works hands down that I've ever been do.
The staff was so friendly and down to earth, they gave me advice for using my insurance effectively and I was able to get some really cool frames out of it. Everyone chimed in and helped me out and made me feel valued as a customer and not just another person they need to get in/out (like other places I've experienced).
The doctor, although visiting until a more permanent doctor comes, was SO sweet, explained everything to me in a way I can understand and gave an exhaustive list of helpful info for my eyes. She was the BEST and I feel more confident in taking care of my eyes with the help she's given me.

I had the best experience here! The staff is kind, professional, attentive...they really went above and beyond to provide the best service. Went there twice, and not even one minute of waiting; on the contrary, the second time I went without appointment and they were super welcoming nonetheless. I did not have the impression to be "just a credit card", they really valued me as a customer. I would give 6 stars! I will definitely go back!

Had the absolute worst experience with my husband just now. We went in for a 2:45 pm appointment (on time), were made to wait, then told that we were late so the doctor couldn't see us. They then let the patient that came after us (who was actually late) go in, while keeping us waiting. Please avoid going here.

I received great service from Michael and the optometrist, Isabella was outstanding, very thorough, professional and gave me great advise on how to take care of my vision. I was very glad I made an appointment in this location eventhough I thought it was going to be very busy. Fortunately, it was not the case. Highly recommended
