I've been going to this particular Voorthius for years and I love them. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of frames is outstanding both in style and quality. The doctor isn't an optometrist but an ophthalmologist, (an MD), and include eye health checks in your exam. They also make their lenses on site. I got my eye exam and selected my frames, paid and picked them up the next day. They are a little pricier than some other stores but the service and quality of everything is superior.

Called to ask about glasses and prices today. The man on the phone was very unfriendly. He even yelled at me and said something very rude, then he hung up and didn't let me finish. Shockingly rude--getting my glasses elsewhere. I'll never visit this office.

Excellent and friendly service. Stopped by this morning - the glasses I had bought from Voorthuis a few years back had become loose. Paul remembered me and was keen to help out, heating up the frames to tighten them up and then putting in new clips (which had gone green). Another customer stopped by specially to have her glasses fixed - another branch had not done the work properly and she knew that Paul did. Am very happy to return and he invited me to come back whenever my glasses become loose agin.
