The good: the very helpful staff at this location were able to fix my unwearable bent brand new glasses in a few minutes. They were great.
The bad: I paid $250 for wire frame glasses that were unusable out of the box and necessitated an immediate maintenance visit.
Very grateful to the associates at the Navy Yard location who fixed the frames swiftly and saved me from a return.
Great store, the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.. The store is in a nice neighborhood and has an excellent selection of frames. I had narrowed it down to a couple at the website and it was nice that I could actually try them on before filling my prescription
Beware of scam! Online, I specifically scheduled a comprehensive exam ~without~ digital retinal imaging. At check-in (12/12/25 4:15pm), the receptionist attempted to charge me $130. I said "Hmm... that's a bit higher than the website said." She paused at least 5 seconds, clearly frustrated to have been caught, then claimed I was required to obtain the digital retinal imaging if I wanted the provider to enter the exam results on my form. I said "It's $40 to have her fill out a form?" The receptionist claimed "if you need any kind of form filled out, you need the imaging. She'll sit down with you and go through the scans." Neighbors, this was a complete lie. The provider did not mention or reference the scans in any way during my assessment, did not pull them up on the screen, and did not need them to fill out my form; she only needed the tests conducted during her assessment. Of course, I was then charged for both the assessment and the imaging, as you can see.
Note this review is only not 1-star because the provider herself was excellent. She was kind, knowledgable, patient, and demonstrated integrity. But if access to a great provider requires passing through a front desk who will lie and deceive repeatedly (first, attempting to charge for services I specifically opted out of; then, when caught in the deception, to dig an even deeper hole with an explicit lie) to upsell customers, then I cannot possibly recommend this location to others.

The staff at this store is outstanding--friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. The optometrist was knowledgeable and took the time to explain the lens options tailored to my needs. I had a great experience and highly recommend this location!
I was greeted as I walked in the store and a representative immediately guided me through the process. It was seamless. It was fast. She was KNOWLEDGEABLE and patient the entire experience from choosing my eyeglasses to paying for my purchase took about 30 minutes. The Rep informed me of my services available to me, if the glasses were not to my liking. I will only buy my glasses from Warby Parker from now on
Armando was super nice and super helpful in picking out my frames, but also helping me with all the insurance stuff!
I've been wearing Warby Parker frames for years, but this was my first time visiting their eye doctor at the Navy Yard location--and I was seriously impressed. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. I didn't have to wait at all, and the entire appointment was quick, efficient, and super pleasant.
The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions and help however they could. The space is modern and welcoming, and the equipment felt high-tech, which gave me confidence that they invest in quality care. My doctor was wonderful--we not only discussed my eye health in detail, but also got to chatting about summer travel, which made the visit feel relaxed and personal.
Highly recommend this location if you're due for an eye exam or just want great service in a beautiful, up-to-date space.
The team was amazing. They saw me early, performed my evaluation timely, provided comprehensive and thorough explanations of the results, and resolved an outstanding order /credit issue for me. Thank you
