If it were possible to give zero stars, this location would have earned it. Over the course of several weeks, our experience was consistently disappointing and unprofessional. My husband's and grandmother's initial appointment was canceled due to a "doctor emergency." We were informed that attempts had been made to contact us, though neither we, nor the patient scheduled standing behind us, received any such call. Unfortunately, this resulted in a completely wasted trip. Still, we chose to give the office the benefit of the doubt. My husband returned for his exam, which itself went smoothly. However, the experience quickly declined when it came time to select glasses. Despite being told at check-in that there would be no copays, we were suddenly informed otherwise. When this discrepancy was mentioned, the response we received was unnecessarily dismissive and rude. We were told the glasses would arrive within a week and that we would be notified. After waiting over a week with no communication, my husband called only to be told they were still waiting on the frames and needed another week. After additional follow-ups, we were informed they had "lost track" of the glasses but assured us they would arrive shortly. On the next call, we were then told (quite confidently) that the glasses had already been picked up. By us. They had not. When we went in to speak with a manager, we were informed the manager had stepped out to another location. Instead, we were assisted by another staff member who proceeded to ask my husband if he was sure he hadn't picked them up himself. We were then told they did not know what happened to the glasses but would "file a grievance with the insurance." Notably absent throughout this entire interaction was any apology, accountability, or empathy. At that point, we requested a refund and decided to take our business elsewhere. We were informed only a manager could process the refund - who, once again, was unavailable. When the refund was eventually issued over the phone, there was still no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or mishandling of the situation. As a result, I canceled my grandmother's future appointment as well. This location lost not only that visit, but also two pairs of glasses and two pairs of prescription sunglasses. I would strongly recommend steering clear of this location unless you enjoy poor communication, misplaced orders, and a complete lack of customer service.

Danny - is super professional; he provided super attention to detail; researching insurance features -- saving me $$ money, specializing the glasses-fit without asking -- keep this man. Also, the entire staff -- remembers your name. Fiona -- an accurate, knowledgeable technician. Highly recommend this office.

My experience at this office was wonderful. Kylie went above and beyond to help me get an appointment ASAP after I had to cancel my previous one due to illness. My frames from a different company broke and I really needed to see the doctor quickly so I could get new glasses. Danny was also helpful and worked to get me everything that I needed at the lowest cost. He was very thorough. The doctor took time with my exam and didn't rush through the tests. These things make a big difference and should be recognized so I felt strongly about doing a review. I'm very appreciative to all of them for the great treatment I received.

The customer service has been excellent. We got our glasses in a timely fashion. We used our own frames. When placing our order, we didn't order the transition for the lenses. We came back in and explained our situation to Ruben. He fixed our problem, reordered the lenses, without our having to leave the glasses and helped expedite the reorder so we could have our glasses for a trip.

Danny at the Bartow location was amazing! He was not only helpful, but very patient with us. Danny took the time to walk us through each step of the process in buying glasses for our 5 year old to ordering updated pairs for ourselves. He even adjusted my husband's old pair to sit better on his face!

Danny at MyEyeDr in Bartow was amazing! Instead of him giving up when a job got tough he pushed through and brought my favorite sunglasses back to life. This is my hometown eye Dr and I love doing business with them.

Danny and staff are the best there is. I'd never go everywhere else. This last visit, Danny explained options for progressive lenses that no one else had ever told me about. I feel confident that I was finally able to order lenses that will be beneficial for my specific needs.
