Staff was a complete joke. Told me I was late for my appointment and they couldn't see me (my appointment was at 12, I had texts and voicemail confirmation yet the girl was telling me I was scheduled for 11:45) so I opted to not reschedule and left. Then I get a call after I'm halfway back to my house to tell me they could have see me, I didn't have to leave, and I was actually on time. I could tell they were more interested in heading out for lunch than seeing patients. The girl literally approached me to tell me I was late, even though I wasn't, with keys in her hand.I told them I wouldn't be turning to come back and I won't be rescheduling either.
Marie and her staff are great.
Marie was outstanding in helping me find the right glasses for the best price. In this economy it's a plus to have someone like Marie looking out for you. She has integrated experience and knowledge which makes what can be a stressful experience easy.
Doctor Dean is kind and very knowledgeable he did a thorough exam offered some great advice and recommendations.
My one complaint is that the office is woefully under staffed for the amount of patients that were booked. This complaint is not to be reflected on Marie and staff that were working that day. It falls directly on upper management.
The Office Staff member Maggy is a very professional, friendly person. Very respectful, personable, attention to details. Helped in my selecting new glasses. Didn't hurry me at all. Dr. Lewis is wonderful. Very kind, professional. Very thorough, and didn't hurry me. I highly recommend this Eye Doctor, and facility.
While the staff and eye doctor at this location are nice, I cannot believe the amount of my time they wasted. I showed up for my appointment about 10 mins early, yet from start to finish I somehow spent more than two hours of my day here. I've never had a yearly exam at any other optician take more than 45 mins, tops. Here, you walk in, sign in, you wait. You get shuffled to a chair in a hallway. You wait. Take your contacts out. Wait in hallway again. I could keep going...The cherry on top was that when they called me to pick up my contacts, I had to walk in, sign in and wait nearly 30 mins just to have them hand them over to me (they were prepaid). Compare this to my experience at Lenscrafters last year, where I walked in, gave my name to a receptionist and was out the door with my contacts within 90 seconds.
Based on my experience, I dont think the bad reviews are very warranted. Not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical to come here at reading the reviews, but the exam price was the most competitive one around that I found, so I went anyway, AND I'M GLAD I DID. Everyone was super nice and attentive, especially Connie who helped me out on the desk side of things. I had Dr. Jon perform my exam, and he was fun, cracking jokes and whatnot. Not a fussy guy, but made sure that my concerns were met. Even if I plan on purchasing my new glasses through Zenni, I will gladly return here again next time I need an updated prescription.
About 3 months ago I bought glasses from Optical Outlets. I liked them . 20 days later the left side broke(I was wearing them). Later in the day the right side broke again I was wearing them. Took them back and they replaced the frame.
Last week while wearing the glasses they broke again same place . iTool them off and the right ear piece broke off. I call Optical Outlets and find out they don't carry that frame anymore. And to get new frames it would cost $300+ to get them fixed. That isn't happening. So if you go there to get glasses be aware!!
I had an exceptional experience at this Optical Outlet. The optometrist is thorough and takes the time to explain everything clearly. The staff is incredibly personable and attentive, ensuring that every order is processed promptly and accurately. I highly recommend this Optical Outlet without hesitation. I was in the store when the individual who left a negative review was there, and she was completely unreasonable and rude to Marie, who has always been the nicest and most patient person. That review should be disregarded, as it clearly came from someone bitter and personality challenged.. Optical Outlets is definitely open on Mondays and does not take a lunch hour.
I went to this location on Friday. The staff was super friendly. The doctor was also very friendly and very thorough. I would recommend this location to anyone!
