Paradise Eyes

Had a great experience this morning with Dr. Evan and staff. Evan is very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain all my options during my appointment. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I will definitely be returning here for all my future optometry needs! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Hays was literally amazing! Made my eye sight clear as day & you get a copy of your prescription right after! I have been to other places and they do not do that Mark also was amazing with ordering my glasses and making sure I get even better service! 1000/10 definitely recommend & shoutout to Rachel as well made me feel at home

I had a great experience with Dr. Hayes. He was kind, patient, and explained everything clearly. I have sensitive eyes and he was very understanding. What stood out was that he noticed something minor I've dealt with for years without me bringing it up and explained it in a way that actually made sense. I felt listened to and comfortable throughout the visit. I'm very impressed and would recommend him.

Evan has always taken care of me for about 3 years now. Very professional and friendly as always! Have no major complaints about this place. A little pushy my last visit with the upselling but they have a job to do so totally understand. Sometimes a man just wants some frames and not the "Super ultra protective 3000x layer" lol

This was our first visit to Paradise Eyes at this location. My wife and I both found Doctor Hayes to be an excellent optometrist who took his time with us and gave us a thorough exam. We were very impressed not only with Doctor Hayes but also with his staff, both Rachel and Joseph who went out of their way to accommodate us. I highly recommend this location for all your eye care. Note Paradise Eyes is located within Vision-works at this location which I also recommend

Excellent experience! Dr Hayes is a professional.. He is compassionate, patient & very upbeat. His staff was patient & nice also. Rachel tought me EVERYTHING about contacts! She was cool, she had contacts for a long time & tells you all the tips & secrets! I had a great experience at Paradise Eyes but there are no signs, it's INSIDE Vision Works on 14th St. next to Mission BBQ & Chic Filet. I will not go anywhere else!

Going to Paradise eyes was the worst experience I've ever had at ANY doctors office. I find Dr. Hayes incompetent and his staff extremely rude. I had an eye exam there and was given the total wrong prescription. When I told them it was wrong, they said to wear them for a few weeks in your eyes will adjust. I knew they would not adjust and they did not adjust. I went in again and had a second eye exam and at that time he asked me what numbers I would like to see on The prescription, REALLY??I'm not the doctor. he told me I had one small cataract that no one could do anything about because it was so small. I went to a different eye doctor Knowing that something was wrong with my eyes ...having to pay for this visit who told me I had many cataracts and sent me to a specialist. The specialist found many cataracts and I have to have cataract surgery in both eyes. Had this been done properly in the first place my insurance would have paid for the cataract surgery in 2024. Now, I'm forced to use my benefit for 2025 when this could've all been taken care of, and I would be seeing clearly now having the cataracts already removed. "Amy," His desk clerk gave me the runaround telling me The person I needed to speak with was busy with someone else. Then she came back on the phone and through the conversation told me the person I needed to speak to, was not there, and she would pass on the message... And I definitely would get a call back the next day. I did not get a call back the next day so I called Back... "Amy" (Who said she was not the person to talk to in the first place ) I guess overnight decided she "was" the person I was supposed to speak with. After 20 minutes of a rather harsh conversation, I asked if the doctor had a voicemail or phone Number she said no, he doesn't. I asked her to have him call me and she replied, so you can vent more ???and I said it's none of your business why I want a doctor to call me but, I'd like to talk to him before I file a complaint with the department of optometry. She argued again with me and I said either you have him call me or I will come in, and you don't want me there to cause a scene. She said she would make a note of my threat. Lol. So now we will see if "Amy "feels the doctor should call me back... In the meantime, they should get a new " Amy" And the proper equipment, she says he does not have to do complete routine eye exams... If I could leave a review of -0 I would. If you want to make sure you and your kids have healthy eyes stay away from paradise eyes.

Dr. Hayes worked wonders on my eyes, the whole staff here was super friendly and were very helpful in making sure my needs were taken care of. Was able to get an appointment quickly and efficiently and the entire process went great. I highly recommend checking out this location for any of your optometry needs.
