Sinclair & Camp ODs

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Sinclair for several years. The staff has always been friendly and professional. We are always given a very thorough exam and he explains everything perfectly.

This is the rudest most unprofessional office I have ever been to, from the receptionist to the Dr. They don't like to deal with your insurance and charge you for things that your insurance covers. They are very rude, Dr Camp hung up on me after she called only to argue with me. She didn't like the insurance I had because "she didn't make any money on it" and told me I just wanted free services! This was for a simple checkup and contact lens exam which were all covered under my insurance. I am appalled at the nerve of them! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I have never in my life been treated this way by any service provider! They did provide me with a refund, good riddance.

Both Dr Sinclair and Dr Camp are very detailed, and take the time to work directly with you through the entire process. I was having some vision issues that no one could figure out. Dr Sinclair took the time to figure it out and educate me as to why I was having trouble. I had concerns because am diabetic. The exam process is longer, but that's because the exam is very thorough and I wanted to be sure the health of my eyes were okay. Highly recommend either doctor if you are looking for a professional eye exam.

Based on the one star reviews, sounds like to me that this establishment only cares about what type of insurance you have...it's all about the bottom line. There's no sincerity to the patients if that's the most important issue.

After going to Dr Sinclair for 20 years he moved to Lakewood Ranch office and decided not to accept Aetna Medicare Insurance which is unacceptable.

Administrator could not have been more unhelpful in our attempt to explain insurance information. A caustic attitude. We shall never return to this outdated 60's decor.

Dr Sinclair got us in for an emergency as a new patient and was wonderful to both my son and I. He was both prompt and informative and resolved the issue.

Every trip here is a treat, the doctor could've gone into comedy and been just as successful.
