Opti-mart Brooksville - A Sight360 Company

A clinic with potential, but serious customer service issues I recently visited this optical clinic and wanted to share my honest feedback -- not to offend anyone, but to encourage the management team to take these concerns seriously and make improvements where needed. First of all, I want to acknowledge that the doctor was outstanding: very professional, kind, and patient. Her attention and attitude were excellent. However, the customer service from the front desk and other staff members was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, there was a clear lack of courtesy, empathy, and willingness to assist. What's even more concerning is that, despite being located in such a diverse area, the clinic does not have bilingual staff to assist Spanish-speaking patients. Communication is an essential part of healthcare, and many patients would appreciate being understood and guided in their language. During our visit, my relative needed help removing a semi-soft contact lens. Instead of offering a quick demonstration or assistance, we were told to make another appointment -- even though there were no other patients waiting. A simple act of kindness would have made a big difference. I truly believe that customer service is the heart of any business, especially in healthcare. A warm greeting, patience, and empathy can completely change a patient's experience. I sincerely hope that the management and owners take this feedback as an opportunity to improve staff training, communication, and cultural awareness. This clinic has potential, but without better service, it risks losing many loyal clients who simply want to feel respected and understood. Once again, my sincere appreciation to the doctor -- she was wonderful and professional. My intention with this review is to help this place become the kind of clinic that every patient, regardless of language or background, feels comfortable visiting.

Worst place I have ever took my kids! Never would I again !the drawl line was finding out the doctor was speaking about me to my 9 yr old son while doing his eye exam! It was unprofessional from the time I walked in !! The woman couldn't even finish checking me in without walking away on a personal call! I had better service at Walmart of all places! And they were completely a better experience I refused to even get the glasses his insurance covered through them! I would rather pay out of pocket to a better service company! When trying to place a complaint before I left I was told how they can't eveb keep a manger! After the experience I see why I would t want any affiliation with that business

This was my son's first experience with getting glasses. Every single person that works there is amazing. My son is shy and they all made him super comfortable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This was my first visit. Everyone that I dealt with was kind, helpful and professional. The doctor was wonderful too. She took time with me and was very thorough. I was completely satisfied, and I will surely be returning.

I followed Dr. De Martino here from another place. Been wearing glasses all my life. She is the best. Has me seeing better than ever. This business is very busy so don't go without your patience. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Update: Got my glasses. I must mention I used old frames I had. Took about 5 minutes. Amazing how thin the lenses are considering I use to have" coke bottle lenses". They are perfect!

My daughter had an appt today and well let's just say that we will be finding a new doctor all because of the ignorance of the lady in the phone. I really hope they pull the phone call! First She didn't identify herself, was so ignorant that I thought my daughter was in trouble for something at school. She hates her job for sure! Second, she still didn't give out any identifying info about where she was calling from and proceeds to demand what kid will be present for the appointment today. I had realized it was the doctors calling to confirm. I really hope they pull this call! I simply asked if she could put in there to not schedule the 2 girls together anymore. I'm not sure why she had such an issue with that and then proceeded to tell me it was my fault. Lady those "kids" are now 18 & 19 HIPPA APPLIES TO PATIENT INFO REGARDLESS IF THEY HAD BEEN SCHEDULED PREVIOUSLY. They are now 18 & 19!!!! UM HIPPA has laws for a reason!!!! I feel bad for the elderly that have her on the phone she has no respect, no communication skills nor any personal skills. You don't treat PATIENTS that way! I really liked this place and my daughter loved the doc but now we will be finding another place due to the ignorance of a specific employee! Please pull the call.

The team was attentive and efficient. The doctor was very engaging, explaining what she was doing at each step and discussed openly and clearly her findings. Will definitely go back!

When my mom and I first walked in for our appointments we were helped at the front door with a smile, being mom was in a wheelchair. Front desk receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Everyone from the Dr to the techs to the young lady(s) who helped me decide on glasses were very kind and didn't make us feel rushed. We felt very comfortable. I would recommend their services to others. can't wait for my glasses to come in.
