Dr. Therrien and her staff are amazing to work with. They are all super friendly and supportive.
I have been doing the Ortho-K treatment for presbyopia / myopia for a few months and being able to get through the day without glasses is life changing! I considered LASIK but felt that they were not being honest about permanent side effects like chronic dry eye. I just put on a pair of contact lenses before I go to bed and I wake up with 20/20 vision all day.
I would highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for a non-surgical alternative to LASIK or just a dependable location for regular eye care.

I came in for a simple eye exam to update my glasses. What I got was a tale of how I have dry eyes and sick glands, have cataracts and am on the path towards glaucoma and am in need of two new sets of glasses (one regular and one for sun) at $1,000 a pop and $3,400 worth of treatments for my eyes and face.
All this after advising that I am seeing an ophthalmologist at Bascom Palmer at least annually.

I've been wearing glasses since I ate young boy seen many physicians. She is by far the most methodical and just an overachiever with going through the correct steps, she made everything makes sense and was telling me I was using old contacts and was saying I need to be on a better system and she was just so great. Her staff was with me by my side and wasn't pushy in doing anything I couldn't recommend her more.
