America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Had the best experience with Guadalupe and Bianca. They were so helpful and pleasant. They went above and beyond to help me. Unlike the manager who gave Guadalupe a hard time in front of all of us for leaving the front desk. My suggestion would be for him to be out front instead of the office on his cell phone to help his employees. Other than that....I would highly recommend America's Best Contact & Eyeglasses for the service alone from the front desk to the doctor to the young lady who ordered our glasses.

Fort Lauderdale - 2630 W Broward Blvd Suite 305, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 When I first walked into America's Best on Broward Blvd back in July, everything seemed fine. The initial salespeople were polite and helpful as I picked out my first pair of progressive glasses. When the glasses arrived a week later, I noticed the frames were very heavy in the front. Thankfully, America's Best has a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy, so I exchanged them right away without even taking them home. I selected a second pair (Ted Baker frames), and at first, they seemed okay. But after wearing them at work and while driving, I realized the arms were pressing too tightly against my temples, leaving painful indentations and irritation. I called the store, and while the staff wasn't thrilled about another return, they did give me a full refund when I came in. Up to that point, everything was fair and straightforward. Things changed, however, once my return was handed off to another lady. After the sales staff consulted with her, their tone shifted completely. Instead of being helpful, they suddenly acted as if I was the problem. I was even told that I had cost the company money by returning my glasses--which felt unfair, since I had only used the return policy exactly as it was written. I was ready to purchase a new pair that same day, but they told me if I bought another pair, I would not be allowed to return them under any circumstances. That was very disappointing, especially as a first-time glasses wearer still trying to find a comfortable fit. So, I walked out. In the end, I decided not to frames from them. Instead, I found a great deal directly on Ray-Ban's website during their Labor Day sale--30% off frames--and ordered from there. The two frames I had tried previously at America's Best were Ted Baker, but they just didn't work out for me. Overall, while I appreciate that the store honored the refund, the way I was treated afterward--being blamed for the company losing money and being restricted from future returns--left me very uncomfortable. Glasses are a big investment, and comfort is essential. I just don't understand why the experience had to turn negative on Labor Day when it started out so positive.

I was totally amazed at how great the service was at this location. I was very hesitant to use's america's best after reading some of the reviews, but I finally gave and made an appointment. from the front door to the testing room to the eye doctor back to the front to place my order. Everyone was wonderful very professional very well trained. I would highly recommend this company to anyone I feel like out of the last 20 years. I got the best service the best eye exam I've ever had.

I want to say the staff are kind and are just doing their jobs but I will never go back to another Americas Best again. I went in to get glasses and only glasses. They kept asking about contacts and I repeatedly told everyone no. However when it was time to pay, I was paying for a contact prescription as well.I had to ask and then they were able to fix it and charge me properly. It was uncomfortable after that. Mind you this entire time, no one has checked my id or insurance card so I really could have been anyone claiming to be myself. Later on, I went to go pick up my glasses and was handed a pair of frames and told to go on my way. Apparently, my glasses don't come with a case? In what world would you not have the case the glasses came in? Are these new glasses? I doubt it. I was given a fabric Americas Best branded case, so I asked for a hard cover. They gave me a Vera Bradley hard case, so I just left. After the lack of communication from the first appointment, I didn't have the energy to try to say anything. I don't believe in arguing with customer service workers but I am very disappointed in this facility and its business practices and will not be returning to get contacts or anything else.

I'm in fort lauderdale on vacation I opened my contacts that they gave me in ohio And the prescription was -3.50 instead of +3.50. Geno answered the phone and was able to get me what I needed. Awsome job Geno, you are an asset to America's Best.

DISGRACEFUL!! The woman at front desk is so nice and then you get taken to the back to the waiting room where you're herded in like cattle- then they do a pointless "pre-test" just to make you feel like you're being seen. Then you wait another 45 to 60 minutes for the doctor. Then YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO CHECKOUT!! To even get your prescription after the doctor sees you. You have to wait in same line as people choosing out glasses. Expect to sit like cattle for AT LEAST 90 minutes for what is a 20 min total exam. If I ever made my clients wait even 5 minutes I'd be out of business.

This is my second visit here and everyone was super nice i.e Bryan, Amaya, Irma and Amanda. We're all super nice. Amaya help me a great ordeal putting in my contacts. All around great team!!!
