Aran Eye Associates - Galleria

This office is terrible. Waiting time is officially 1 to 2 hours - i attached a photo of it. The personnel is not helpful. Not mentioning strong clorox smell when you enter the waiting room and dirty and smelly toilet. Will never come here again

I called ahead to confirm my appointment was good as my drive was 45 minutes. As I get there, they told me my appointment was cancelled because of a mistake that they made updating my insurance on file. I was very disappointed, as I scheduled my appointment a month before and made a point to confirm. No phone call or text let me know that it was cancelled. Disrespect for my time, and my babysitter. They made the effort to try to let me stay and be seen but wait at least two hours for that. Unacceptable. Terrible experience

The employees at the front desk were impolite; needless to say that smiles were never shown. Being a place for people with vision issues, it was dark in the lobby. My mom, being 101 years old, had an appointment at 8:00 am ; she was sent to another place, then sent back to the first one. At 8:50 am a technician tells me that she has to wait because she has another patient and the doctor who is supposed to perform the procedure is very busy. I asked how log would it take for her to be seen and she says that she does not know. What kind of service is this??

Since dealing with the staff at the Firt Lauderdale location, I have encountered with the likes of nothing but RUDE office personnel. do not have the decency to be polite when speaking with patients who literally want information regarding situations that have occurred when trying to get appointment information, referral information etc. I have witnessed patients being frustrated and asked that there names be removed just recently early December 2025. I myself was told today December 22, 2025 that if my referral is not there by ten this morning that I should go home. I responded and told the young lady not to address me in that manner because she has no right to tell me to go home. Recently I had to cancel my December 15, appointment and reschedule for today December 22, only to encounter the same scenario of not have the authorization/ referral in place for my fowwow up . The Fort Lauderdale office personnel in the front office are not professional and treat the patients as though they are low class and there is no respect for their dignity. As for me I am not returning to Aran Eye from this day due to the personal office unprofessional behavior.

Mom visit was good, the moving of patients along the way was faster not the long waits, and doctors explained in detail her progress was caring. Her last doctor was too. Even the front desk was friendly.

Horrible customer service. Front desk personnel are rude and insensible. Providers give a flying bee about their patients, they just care about getting paid. My diabetic mom waited over six hours to get the cataract surgery while the nurses ran around the facility trying to figure out my mom's lens cost. The worst of the worst.

Dr Rojas was excellent...I hope to have him for my 2nd eye surgery...the area for follow up appointments the staff especially one African American lady acts like you are a bother when you come to sign in for your follow up appointment s....this is do not appreciate...surgery side staff polite

Very excited about my appointment after waiting two months. No-fault of Aran for that, but I was lied to by the doctor. First, she advised me there are no stages in Cataracs which there are four and refused to provide me with a written prescription so I can purchase a more effective pair of eyeglasses, which may help my vision, Stating "due to the government is the reason they/ophthalmologist no longer write prescriptions for eyeglasses." Plus, the bathroom and equipment were unsanitary, and to push a person to have a surgery in that type of unclean environment is not healthy. Doubt very seriously if I will ever return. I would like my co-pay refunded.
