My Eye Dr.

I have been to my share of optometrists around south Florida in my thirty years here. I can say with great confidence this office operates well above regional standards. Excellent, New equipment super communication, flexible, fair priced even. Bright interior with a cool street view, I am so glad I found them through our provider. Dr. Jacobs has a personal approach and warm conversational way about him. First he helped our son with a special type of contact lenses that will keep his eyes from deteriorating further - worn at night so he can play and swim during the day with perfect vision! My wife and I have the best prescriptions and eyewear we've ever had! Life is good with this special spot! Thank you Team Jacobs, you are raising the bar in South Florida with your service and delivery!

As my husband and I waited to see the doctor, we watched the staff clean and sanitize the chairs, tables and counter surfaces in the waiting area. When we were taken into the back offices for tests and such, we saw that they sanitized all the diagnostic machines used to examine our eyes. Very impressed. Dr. Jacobs explained in detail the progress of my eyesight and made time available to me to answer all my questions. I would HIGHLY recommend going here to have your eyes checked and get glasses.

So excited! I have worn glasses for almost my entire life. So it's familiar the test for how blind I am. This office is more high tech. The test was the easiest and least anxiety ridden than any test I've had before. Comparing the clarity of dots, instead of feeling like I'm failing the test will the blurry letters. I am so happy and excited!

This was my first ever visit to an optometrist. I found the visit to be quick, easy, and painless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd especially like to thank Missy for the friendly welcome, and making the paperwork a seamless process. Dr. Jacobs is very knowledgeable and helped explain everything clearly. Outstanding service! Everyone at the office was friendly and did a great job making sure I had a pleasant experience. Dr. Fisher was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job with my prescription. I will definitely be back and have already recommended her to a number of my friends.

I really want to say thanks to Vision Source. They have a High Customer Service! They gently answer all my questions and take the time to explain me all the procedures. Kimberly and Joan are awesome kindly. Also Jared and Dr. Jon take the time and care in this office visit, they were very professional and carefull. Toni explain me all the frames covered by my insurance and took the time to let me choose. This was my first visit and I am happy to find you Vision Source. Today we had our first appointment with Vision Source of East Broward. We set the appointment 2 weeks ago, asked if they accepted our plan, gave all information about the plan, ID #, etc. Today at the front desk we showed my son's ID Card, the Medicaid card, they assured me that everything was ok, and they proceeded with the consultation. It appears that my son's vision had magically improved, since the grade of his lenses are half of what it was 8 months ago. but that are good news, aren't? By the end of it, however, they approached me and my son and asked for $135 payment, because according to them, they are not working as a provider for Sunshine Health or Medicaid, and they just found out. I checked again and they are listed as providers in the insurance webpage specifically under Medicaid Plan (Including Child Welfare Specialty Plan) and Healthy Kids Plan. I cant understand how a supposedly provider for Medicaid can just let a single head of household mother take a whole test for her son, showing a Medicaid card that speaks for itself about financial aid, and wait until the end of the consultation to throw such a blow on her face. I believe the staff is great, the doctors might be good, but this whole experience was disappointing.

I Came To The Right Place The entire staff was courteous and very knowledgable about my eye exam. Wish I had been coming here all along! Even after ending up at the wrong office location and showing up late Dr. Kelly still welcomed my appointment. Dr. Jacobs also stopped in to assure me I was a perfect candidate for lasik surgery which was cool and comforting. Thanks guys!
