Long-time customer here. I've spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years on contacts and glasses, and until now my experiences had mostly been positive. Unfortunately, my last visit completely changed that.
I arrived barely five minutes late to my appointment, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the front desk staff immediately acted as if they "couldn't find me." It was very obvious that they had already given my exam slot to someone else and were trying to cover it up rather than simply acknowledging what happened.
For context: people have lives. Try juggling three jobs, two kids, and a packed schedule, all while rearranging your day just to make time for an eye exam that you're required to do every year just to update a prescription.
The most disappointing part wasn't even the scheduling issue -- mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of accountability. The two employees at the front desk just kept repeating that they couldn't locate my appointment instead of taking ownership of the situation.
Ironically, the only person who showed any professionalism was the employee working in the back (I believe she may have been the optician). She was the only one who actually apologized and acknowledged the mistake, which I genuinely appreciated.
I chose not to cause a scene or ruin anyone else's visit, so I quietly left and later filed a complaint by phone. The resolution they offered? A $50 discount. That's honestly insulting considering I routinely spend $1,000-$2,000 per visit between contacts and glasses.
This experience made it very clear how little they value long-term customers.
After years of loyalty, I won't be returning. And I'll absolutely be letting others know about how this store treats its customers when something goes wrong.
Great selection of reasonably priced glasses. They also do eye exams and I was able to get one on the same day I went on their website. Very convenient. Very friendly staff. Nice store.
Great experience! Alana was incredibly helpful and efficient! She assisted us with both our prescription and sunglasses and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We were in and out of here in 10 minutes. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we found exactly what we needed. Excellent customer service and experience.
I recently visited Dr. Zoe Fineberg at the Warby Parker Las Olas location, and she is truly outstanding--I give her a solid 'A+.' I originally came in to purchase glasses using an existing prescription from another provider, but once the glasses arrived, my vision felt significantly off. Dr. Fineberg went above and beyond to resolve the issue. She took the time to meticulously double-check the previous measurements and patiently answered every question I had.
By recommending a few precise tweaks to the prescription, she completely solved my vision problems. Dr. Fineberg is a true professional with a wonderful, empathetic bedside manner. If you are looking for a top-tier optometrist in South Florida, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
I was excited to go to a Warby Parker store as I heard a lot of hype for their business model. But, in the end I was not impressed. Even though the sales staff were pleasant and helpful, I didn't like the overall concept of WP. You go into the store and select your base glasses at a good price, add on this and that to the glasses (more $), complete the sale and hopefully receive the glasses in 2 weeks via mail. Any glasses adjustments means another trip to the store and in this store's case another meter to feed for the hour.
In my case, I got an eye exam and retinal exam (another trip to the store) from the onsite optometrist. This is where the OK experience goes to bad experience. My eye exam was not done correctly based on the glasses I received, and since the optometrist is not a WP employee, there is no WP guarantee on that service. This in a major flaw in their overall business, imo, in that no accountability is there for the eye exams.
In the end, I returned the glasses via the USPS, still waiting for the refund. As for the optometrist visit? I am going to have to eat that $130 even though it appears to be an incorrect rx as WP does not guarantee that service.
If I were to do again, which of course I will not, I would first go to a reputable local optometrist for the rx and then go to WP if I wished for the glasses. But, as there are many local places to have this done I would find another more experienced place for my glasses.
This is easily one of the best opticals in South Florida. Everything from the beautiful store and welcoming team, to the extremely thorough exam from Dr. Bauza and competitive self-pay pricing really makes this one of the best opticals in south FL! Thank you Team Warby!
Love the store in Las Olas! Very clean and organized and the personnel were very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. The service was quick too! Definitely recommend to anyone that's looking for affordable stylish glasses they have a great selection!
The service here is amazing! Aileen is the best -- super helpful and kind. The doctor is also very nice and patient, and really takes the time to make you feel comfortable. She gave me great advice for the future too.
They also help you pick out the perfect frames, and the best part is that they accept insurance. I definitely recommend them!
