This practice is shutting down as of today March 28th 2025. Regretfully, I have had to move my services to another ophthalmologist in the pompano Beach area. Dr. Elgort is among the best ophthalmologists I've ever experienced! His compassion expertise + bedside Manor is par. None. There have been issues in the past where the office did not return calls at times yet. The majority of the time the services were very good

Dr. Elgut performed cataract surgery on both my eyes several years ago. The lens that had been inserted in one eye had become cloudy and needed to be cleared. I was taken in at my appointment time and received prep. meds. After the waiting time, I was seated in the laser room and Dr. Elgut administered the laser. The treatment lasted mere minutes and I was able to leave. Excellent, efficient care was given as usual.

First of all Leslie was fantastic. So caring, kind, considerate and went way out of her way to solve my numerous issues. The front desk was very friendly which means a lot to me Dr Espaillat excellent skills and explained my issues completely.

My appointment was for 1pm. I arrived on time and waited in the hallway until the doors opened. The first patient was called in at 1:20. When I returned the paperwork I had to fill out, another patient was called. I stopped her name on the sign up sheet. Her appointment was for 1:15. I pointed this out to the woman at the desk. She told me that the oder of who was called came from the back. I waited until 2:15 and left. I won't be back.

Dr. Elgut is wonderful! He takes all the time you need to have every question answered. He's thorough, patient, fun and his recommendations are always balanced and based on best outcomes for his patients! I've been seeing him for years and highly recommend him!

I'm very glad that Elgut Eye Care was recommended to me. The front office staff was very welcoming and professional. Sandra was extremely nice and explained everything to me as she went along with my preliminary examination. Dr. Ott was amazingly kind and easy to talk with. He explained the entire procedure of my cataract surgery completely. And Rose, who does the scheduling, was absolutely terrific. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Who likes going to the Dr, right? I was apprehensive at first and didn't want to go. But the front desk staff Judy and Amy will put you at ease right away with their humor and professionalism. As a first time patient they get you setup right away and help through the tedious paperwork. Jason was my Technician. Very pleasant to work with. He has a great bedside manner. He is knowledgeable and you can tell he enjoys what he does and make the patients feel comfortable. Dr, Elgut was very professional and helpful in assisting me to deal with the issue that brought me to his office. Thank you Doctor for your help. Elliot and Rose are awesome. Elliot walked me through getting signed into the patient portal and Rose made me feel good about paying for the services rendered. Who does that? They had me laughing on the way out the door and feeling better leaving than when I came to the office. I would just like to thank everyone for the pleasant experience overall. Great Office

Dr. Ott seems like a fine doctor, unfortunately his office canceled my cataract surgery less than one business day prior, and my insurance company and I spent three unsuccessful months trying to find out why. They actually told me that they didn't know why but they were working on it. My mechanic can tell me what work was done on my car in any given month going back years, but they said they had no record of something that happened weeks before. Bizarre but true. I finally went to Your Eye Specialists and had incredibly successful cataract surgery and a great experience with their friendly and very efficient office.
