I have worked in the health care field with hundreds of drs and office staffs. I have been coming to this office with my mother for over a year and it is by far the worst drs office I have ever been to in my personal and professional life. This office is like a factory and the wait times are unbelievable. Again today we have been here so far 1 hour and 20 minutes and she was again placed in the waiting room inside the office where there are over 20 patients. The outside waiting room had well over 20 patients when she was finally called in. The receptionist is rude and doesn't belong working with patients at all. She is a b____ to this very vulnerable population.The externs are great as is Dr. Hargraves the optometrist. My mom doesn't even recognize Dr. Braverman who has done 2 cataract surgeries on her. He spent more time on the dvd player in their new offices then he ever spent with her. We have called before and never received a call back. They always collect their money before taking patients in and sometimes where these elderly patients are standing there for some time just to give them the 5.00 copay. The guy who does the glasses is also short with patients as are so many of their staff. They really need TRAINING in customer and patient care. I'm sure they wouldn't want their parents treated the way they treat these patients.

had my annual eye exam - the nurse/"pre" doctor was exceedingly nicer and more explanatory than the doctor himself - honestly seemed more qualified. i had a 2:30P< appointment, dr didn't see me until literally 4:50PM. overheard him during that time waiting in the room VERY CLOSE BY TO HIM talking needlessly (ie: vacation details, and more), either on the phone or with a patient, with absolutely no concern for my time. i took an emergency appointment during my work hours, and ended up not even being able to make it back to work due to his complete lack of concern for his patients' time. i will say, however, that everything other than the doctor - from the facility and the personnel - do deserve 5 stars.

This place takes advantage of people. My father does not speak English well and does not understand much in the paperwork. They have sold him two pair of glasses for $240 even though he had Medicaid insurance that covered the price of one of them almost completely. The other frame has broken within 3 months. This place refused to replace for free and also refused to provide all necessary paperwork to recover the cost of glasses through AMEX extended warranty. The optometrist is a crook, sells you cheap frames at the price of premium frames, very rude and extremely bad at what he does. Stay away as far as possible, there are better places around.

TERRIBLE! The first time I came they refused to honor the appointment that my PCP set up with them for me and for which I have a printout with the date and time. The second time for which they rescheduled me, they refused to see me saying that the doctor was not in on the day for which they gave me the appointment. The third time I came, they couldn't find the paperwork they took from me when I had come the second time. I sat waiting more than 30 minutes while the receptionist serviced other patients who came in ahead of me. Awful!! If I could give a -10 rating I would.

Absolutely amazing! I got my LASIK done here recently and from the initial consultations all the way post procedure I was walked through every thing I needed and felt 100% comfortable. I now see 20/20 after more than 15 years of wearing glasses since a child and couldn't be happier. I didn't waste any effort in researching and finding a trustworthy place to work on my eyes, I only have one pair you know! I am happy I selected Dr. Braverman and his team. I was also referred to Braverman by multiple people who had successful procedures here and were also happy. With many options to choose from I already have and will continue to recommend Dr Braverman and his staff to any of my friends and relatives.

I'm giving 1 star because there wasn't anything lower. Visited the new complex in Hollywood for the first time and the place was nice but the staff was unprofessional & rude! They should have gotten rid of the staff with the old building. Start by firing the receptionist who could be a boot camp drill sergeant. Never greeted me, asked me multiple times for ID and insurance instead of all at once. Asked me for $50 ahead of time to pay for Rx that I do not have yet (had to decide right away for some reason) if I needed Rx for my glasses... how do I know if I haven't seen the doctor?? I saw 2 other people walk out. Must employ hospitable staff that will treat the patient with the kindness they deserve - I do not recommend this establishment...

I have had contacts for over 30 years. I moved from another area of the state recently and decided to get established with this practice for an exam so I could order more contacts. It was such a cattle call. I paid my co-pay, waited over an hour, then when I finally was brought back to an exam room, I was told it would be an extra $100 for a contacts exam. I agreed to it but was told I had go back up front and pay before we could do the exam. While I waited in line to pay, the technician asked a co-worker if she could do it because he doesn't know how to do a contacts exam. After I paid, someone else came in and said the other tech was pulled away to do something else. I told her I knew that the reason he wasn't doing it is because he didn't know how. I said I was not happy with the practice already even before the exam but I've already wasted my afternoon, and it would be inconvenient to go someplace else and that I just wanted the exam and script. I was told that after the exam, I wouldn't get a script, I'd have to come back as a follow up. So I said forget it. Two hours later I left. It's a three ring circus there, stay away.
