Retina Group of Florida

My experience at Retina Grupo Florida was very disappointing. My moms appointment was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. We arrived on time and completed all paperwork by 9:15 a.m., yet we waited approximately an hour to be seen, while other patients who arrived after us were called in first. The appointment was for my mother, who has a serious medical history involving retinal detachment and multiple prior eye surgeries. We understand that detailed questions and diagnostic tests are necessary, and she did undergo several exams and imaging procedures at the facility. However, when the doctor finally came in, his attitude felt dismissive and lacking empathy. After briefly reviewing her eyes and asking about her surgical history, we were simply told that everything was "fine" and that a report would be sent to her referring physician. No clear explanation was provided, and our concerns were not meaningfully addressed especially considering that my mother continues to experience worsening symptoms. Given her complex history, we expected a more thorough discussion and guidance. We left feeling confused, unheard, and without clear answers. When it comes to retinal health and serious eye conditions, communication and compassion are essential. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience, and I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking careful evaluation and patient-centered care for retinal issues.

Everyone that i met with was professional and pleasant. one person Sabine was truly amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable, and at ease. She set a positive tone to the experience. I knew i was in good hands when I met the dr.

My experience at the Retina Group of Florida was absolutely excellent. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout my visit. Dr. Anagnoste is truly the best at what he does. His expertise, precision, and compassionate approach are unmatched. I am grateful to be in such capable hands and highly recommend the Retina Group of Florida to anyone seeking outstanding retinal care.

The service and attention at Retina is by far the best! Upon arriving at the office for an appointment within a few minutes your eyes are being tested by the tech's and you sitting in front of the doctor within a few minutes. My appointment from start to finish took about an hour. It was an excellent experience!

I am so glad that I had the privilege of finding this retinal group that has provided excellent service for me. Dr Eduardo Uchiyama diagnosed my condition within the first visit and now has me on a regiment of medication to help me maintain my site. He is absolutely a consummate professional, and by far a leading physician in his field. The busyness of his office isa testimony to how the word gets around. There are good doctors and great doctors, but I think I found the best doctor.

Always a good experience with this medical group. Worked with Associate Michael who was really a professional working with on this appointment and getting me through testing. Dr Scott Anagnoste is a wonderful Dr to work with. Always pleasant and upbeat.

The staff is amazing: congenial, helpful, caring and obviously knowledgeable. Dr. Uchiyama is very professional while having a much appreciated "bedside manner". This Group is the best!
