I have extremely bad vision, and I have really bad anxiety when I go to the eye doctor because of my eye condition. Today I had the pleasure of having Dr. Waris, and I'm so grateful for her care. She was very thoughtful and professional, and made me feel very comfortable in a situation. It's vulnerable sitting in the chair when you can't see at all, but she guided me through everything. She was also very thorough and educative. Then, my husband I met with Karla who helped us get the best prices for both contacts and glasses. She was polite, helpful, and very efficient. She made the payment process, which can be incredibly stressful elsewhere, be a breeze! She took the time to actually go over the prices and explain the membership as well as my insurance prices. My toddler was there and she was very understanding. From the beginning that I called to make the appointment, everyone systematically helped me amazingly. Every person that assisted me was professional and great, from the person who checked me in, did my initial eye exam, the doctor and the sales representative. I sincerely thank everyone involved in the process. I used to have a phobia going to the eye doctor so I sincerely thank you all.

My sister and I were there for glasses, and we had a wonderful experience with Jessica. She was very sweet, polite, and most importantly, extremely helpful. As we browsed, she gave us suggestions and checked to make sure we were okay. She took the time to inform us of all our options and clearly explained what each one meant, making the decision process easy.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at America's Best. My elderly mother went in for help because her glasses--purchased from them--had broken. She cannot drive, so it was already difficult for her to come in, yet the manager refused to assist her and instead told her to go to another location. To make things worse, the manager then called the other location and said she was sending my mother there because that second store supposedly didn't want to see her--which was a complete lie. My mom had never even gone to that second location until after the manager told her to. When she arrived, the staff at the other store were confused and asked which of them had refused to assist her because they didn't recognize her at all. That's when my mom realized the manager had made up the story entirely. It's unacceptable and unprofessional to treat anyone that way, especially an elderly woman who just needed help with the glasses she purchased from them. The lack of compassion, honesty, and basic customer service from that manager was appalling. America's Best should be ashamed of how this situation was handled.

I made my appointment the day before and when I show up day of I am told my appointment was canceled because I did not confirm even though I scheduled the appointment 24 hours prior. I received a text morning of saying they looked forward to seeing me just to cancel my appointment 1 hour before I showed up. They told me there is nothing they could do so they rescheduled me for the following day. They wasted my time and now I need to come another day. Don't schedule people if you are just going to cancel them.

I came to this america best eye place for eye appt and yes it nice deals on glasses but they have a shitty way of handling there customers just to pick up glasses I was in there for over an hour before they even acknowledged me..I also believe there receptionist could be trained to do more then walk around and push chairs in
