Very disappointed with this location.. I had a 9 o'clock appointment keep in mind they open at 8am. I got to my appointment at 8:45 and there were 15 people ahead of me... there is only one doctor on duty.. how is it possible for one doctor to see 15 patients and maybe perform some procedures in 1 hour.. I waited one hour (10:00am) to be called in only to find out that I was moved to another waiting room where there were 14 patients waiting to be seen.. This practice of overlooking is a shameful and totalys disrespectful to the patients. I got up and told the nurse to cancel my appointment. I was considering getting my new glasses thru them but my time is worth more than anything they can offer.. I will continue to get my glasses and Costco Optical...

truly outstanding--knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring. The exam was detailed, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. The staff was friendly, the office was clean, and I never felt rushed. I left feeling confident in my eye health and well cared for. Highly recommend!

My mother had an appointment a few weeks ago. We got there way before our appointment time. The small waiting room was full of people and as the time went by, more people continued to come in, while only about 2 people completed their appointments. After 45 minutes past my mom's scheduled appointment, I went and asked the young woman at the front desk how much longer before my mom sees the doctor. She had the nerve to tell me appointments take 2 to 3 hours. I said why was that not mentioned at the time of scheduling? Mind you, I knew I had somewhere to be after my mom's appointment. So when I made the appointment with them for my mom, I specifically asked if the appointment would take a long time to let me know. They didn't. I said we do not have another 2-3 hours on top of the hour we'd already been there. We have to leave. She never apologized. She simply said to call and reschedule because she couldn't do it right then. Terrible!

This office is so disorganized and inefficient. I have been there 2 times for myself (waiting 4 to 5 hours) and 2 other times for my parents. Today, they had them waiting for 5 hours since appointment time 7:50 am (we arrived at 7:30) until 12:30 PM after skipping them with other patients, only to say that they have to reschedule their appointment because by mistake they booked the wrong doctor, and the wrong office.. Plus, they created 2 different profiles/histories for my Dad, so now they don't even know what tests or exams need to be done, or which are done correctly.. I felt so bad because some seniors do not make a big deal, just because they want to be polite, but this is abusive, showing no care for anyone, bad communication with the patients, a lack of professionalism, a lot of disorganization, and many human errors. I won't recommend this office to anyone. We, of course, won't go back.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had a procedure at Med Eye, the Pembroke Pines office, Dr. Gustavo Rodriguez Salinas. DO NOT GO TO ANY OF THE MED EYE ASSOCIATES OFFICES. My first concern with my appointment was the doctors disregard for a sterile environment before performing injections in my eye. After he put on his surgical gloves but before performing injections in my eye, he opened cabinets and closed the exam room door, touched a pen, etc. I have never seen a doctor do that before performing a procedure as most doctor are concerned about infections. I was told to come back in 2 weeks if my issue wasn't resolved. It has been 2 weeks and I cannot reach a live person, get anyone to call me back or get the "automated scheduler" to find me an appointment sooner than August. I have been trying for 3 days to get either an appt or someone to call me back. I held for over an hour today and then I had to hang up. I have left 3 messages. I have a concerning problem since my last appointment and I can't get any follow up since my procedure. I would not trust any part of your eye health to this office or doctor.

Be prepared to wait 3 hours to see the doctor and leave. I think they over book people which is horrible.

Most of the staff seems bothered and disregards concerns of patients. If you have an appointment that doesn't matter and still make you wait about two hours. The biggest complaint is the staff, most have a poor attitude. I understand that it can be difficult working in the health care field but perhaps show more compassion.
