On the 30th of April I had my first appointment with Dr. Broome. This was a well-appointed office, with pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Dr. Broome was very friendly and the examination was completed quickly without me feeling rushed.
A particular shout out to Sam. She had the best personality and was so helpful.

This was my first visit, The staff was very nice and listened to my concerns and ran tests I requested. Dr. Broome was professional, listened to my concerns and educated me on next steps for a concern about my eyes. They also did not push a specific brand of lenses as some other offices have. Thankful I found a personable optometrist office that I don't feel like it take advantage near me.

I have delayed posting this review for several years, but the decline in this practice can no longer go unaddressed. The standard of care and customer service has deteriorated significantly. I have been a patient of Dr. Broome for more than 30 years, and whatever changes have occurred are unequivocally negative.
Although Dr. Kim is an excellent provider, accessing her care has become increasingly difficult due to persistent obstacles: an unresponsive phone system, unreliable online scheduling, unanswered calls, and staff interactions that are consistently dismissive and unhelpful. These issues create an unnecessary barrier between patients and the care they seek.
It is evident that recent changes have come at the expense of patient experience, and long-term loyalty appears to hold no value to this practice.

A frustrating experience, to say the best.The office staff was friendly and positive. The examiner was loud and indifferent. When I told her that the field of vision was fuzzy, she told me to read it anyway. At the session for a second evaluation, her demeanor was more cool than the first. She didn't explain anything to me other than to see a retina specialist. I received no assistance in finding frames, not fitting them when I picked them up. Immediately upon putting them on my face at the pick-up, I told the helper that the vision was fuzzy, and not clear ads I had specifically requested. I was told to wear them for a month to get used to them. My many phone call messages were un-returned. I received aid only after continued pestering.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS..!!!

They are not good at calling in prescriptions. Twice now in the last 2 years I have ask due do a scratch on my eye from contacts. extreme pain. 1st time tried to get them to respond for 3 weeks so gave up. they were going to fill my prescriptions at my last eye exam but never did. Called and ask them to call the drops in but now no Doctors they retired. And they were not comfortable calling the scripts in. So here I am uncomfortable. They say find another doctor. What a crappy service obviously do not care about their patients.

I bought 2 pair of glasses from them. One being Maui Jim's spent almost two thousand dollars. I also bought the extended warranty. What a waste of money. They did not cover either problem that I had. Don't waste your time or money at this establishment.

The office got me in quickly, took the time to troubleshoot (yes, apparently you can troubleshoot eyes!), and made sure everything was right. Everyone was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful.
