Everyone from the receptionist to the doctors is helpful and nicer than I could be under their patient load. Dr Kansara is peronsable, efficient and friendly, some having been at Coastal for multiple decades. A pleasant experience from this patients viewpoint. Highly recommend.

Prepare to spend a very long time . My daughter's eye doctor in st. Pete is half the time. Ridiculous. I had an 8:30am appointment and didn't get to a room till after 9:am. The waiting room was full. They clearly overbooked and dint care about peoples schedule. I lost my whole morning. Thankful I don't have to go back for a long time. I will be blocking off half a day for these appointments, if I see them again. Truly terrible. The only good thing was the doctor. But that didn't make up for the wait.

Dr. Kansara is the best! He took away my cataract in both eyes! He's also a great guy! Everyone in his office is very nice. They are awesome! Jesse Witman

The doctor is excellent, but the front desk staff are awful. I was told by the doctor that due to a complication, I needed a visual field test ASAP. When I called to schedule, the receptionist tried to put me a week out, even though it was urgent and I'm going out of state next week to be with family. I explained how important it was -- one receptionist had even said to schedule as soon as possible -- but another just said, "too bad, we don't have appointments." She then scheduled it anyway after I told her I couldn't make that date. When I called back to cancel, the next receptionist put me on hold even after I told her I was in another urgent appointment and couldn't wait. She did it anyway. I didn't have a chance cancel so an appointment I can't make is just sitting there. If you're so busy you don't make new patient appointments because you cannot even take care of those you have. They were cold, dismissive, and completely lacking compassion or understanding of eye health. The doctor deserves better staff, because right now they make the entire experience stressful and disappointing. I even mentioned to the woman in scheduling I was going to write a review. She just said "ok have a great day."

I was extremely pleased that your office was able to accommodate me this morning to help me with my eye problem. Your office was very professional and extremely competent. Dr.kansara was wonderful. He thoroughly examined my eye problem, explained to me what the issue was and gave me a course of action to follow to remedy my problem. He also offered to help me at anytime during my stay in Sarasota. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

I had an emergency and they fit me in to what was obviously a very busy day at the office. Everything worked like clockwork, only complaint, the downtown office was freezing. But I was very glad there was someone who could help me so quickly in an emergency. 5 STARS

Excellent office and doctor. Very thorough eye exam, and explanations from the staff and doctor. Definitely would recommend.

Great experience from start to a great conclusion! Dr. Kansara and the entire team have been wonderful throughout the procedure. They came highly recommended to me and I share that high recommendation.
