I would give them zero stars if I could. NOT RECOMMENDED!
1. I went for my exam and then told Dr. Ness what I wanted. He said he understood and could do it that way (weaker prescription than
called for).
2. Went to get my glasses, they were regular strength not what he told me he would make for me as I requested.
I tried them on, immediately said they are not what I asked for so please remake them as I asked. The girl said "No, we can't do that.
You have to try them at home for 10 days first.
I said, No, I don't want them, they aren't what I asked for. She said, "No. The policy is you have to take them home and try them for 10
days 1st." I agreed under protest. WASTED TRIP #1.
3. Took them back after 10 days, they said, "NO. You have to make another appointment before we re-make them." I said, "So why
didn't you tell me that? She just said "bring them back in 10 days"! WASTED TRIP #2
4. Came back, Dr. Ness said, "No, you didn't have to try them for 10 days." Told him about how they wasted a whole trip then, and
that's an hour drive! I then asked him, "Why didn't you make the prescription how I asked?" He said, "Well that can't be done." I said,
"so why did you agree to do it during my exam?!" He said, I guess I didn't hear you. I said, "You clearly did. I told you TWICE and both
times you agreed." He says, "My bad..." - as if that is a good excuse.
5. I had to then come back again to get my NEW prescription for bifocals this time instead because he said that's the only way he
could give me close to what I want. I come back and while I'm at it, I get them to give me new lenses from my old glasses because
I paid for a scratch guarantee. So they ordered me new lenses.
6. Came back to get the new lenses. The girl (same one who told me incorrectly I had to try the other lenses 10 days which the dr.
said was not true) went to get them and said they were the wrong size! I said, but the guy measured them last time I came in! "So
sorry!" WASTED TRIP #3! Now I will have to come back at least once more for WASTED TRIP #4.
While there I asked the girl to fix my nose pieces, she said she'd give me new ones. I waited, she gave them back to me, they fit
better so I went on my way.
Got 30 minutes away, I felt they were dirty so pulled them off to clean them, looked at them to see where the dirt was...ONLY TO DISCOVER SHE HAD SCRATCHED BOTH LENSES when putting the nose pieces in! (Same girl who incorrectly made me waste 10 days and make a 2nd trip for nothing.
All in all I will have made not 1, not 2, but 6 trips to get a new pair of glasses, because A) the doctor made the prescription different from what he said he would, and B) the guy who took my scratched lens replacement order incorrectly measured or wrote down wrong the size of the lenses!
Once I finally - if ever! - get my scratched lenses repaired, I will never ever go to this dr. or office again! And I recommend you never go there.
