Target Optical

I had a great experience at Target Optical! The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me find the best options while saving money. They took the time to explain my choices, worked with my insurance, and made sure I got the best value without feeling rushed or pressured. Excellent customer service all around--I'll definitely be coming back and recommending them to others!

They begged for a review, so here it goes. I chose Target Optical because they are an in-network provider for my employer, but I deeply regret that decision. My experience was unprofessional from start to finish: * The Wait: I had a 10:00 AM appointment and wasn't seen until noon. A two-hour delay for a scheduled medical appointment is unacceptable. Once I was seen, I did not get a thorough exam due to them being so far behind with their schedule. The doctor was very nice I must say. * Insurance Negligence: I informed the staff three times that my benefits cover both frames and contacts. I was dismissed every time without them even checking my chart. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for frames/lenses because they refused to verify my coverage. * Medical Mismanagement: After wearing my trial contacts, my vision was significantly worse. When I called to fix this, "Miesha" was incredibly dismissive. She claimed the doctor just put me in those lenses so I'd have "something" in my eyes. As someone with an extremely high prescription, no doctor would--or should--send a patient out with "random" lenses when I had my original pair with me. I am now stuck finishing my care here because my yearly benefits are tied to this location, but I would strongly advise others to go elsewhere. They need better scheduling and staff that actually listens to patients. Especially Miesha. I hope I do not have any further interactions with her again!

Absolutely fabulous experience once again we regularly come here for our contacts and glasses for the entire family. Micah is amazing, we never spend more than 30 minutes between picking out glasses, selecting lenses options and paying! We also see massively quick turnaround in glasses delivery post ordering. Thank you for making eye care for my family so pain free!

The optometrist did a great job taking the time to explain my test results and any additional questions I had. I also had wonderful experience with Leticia. She was very kind and patient during the pre-eye exam. She also was very helpful in choosing my glasses frames and explained other options that also fit my prescription. When I picked up my glasses, Terri helped me. She did an excellent job, making me feel comfortable and making sure they fit properly.

Christine was amazing, so helpful and genuine with her assistance. I really appreciated the extra time and care she gave me. I regularly visit this location and they are always great, quick and affordable.

I started coming here when I got a job at this Target, and have stayed a patient the two years since leaving the job. Every staff member and optometrist I encountered was friendly and helpful, and getting my glasses adjusted was always quick and easy.

had a very disappointing experience here. The sales associate made several microaggressions toward me, such as speaking to me in a condescending tone when asking if I had ever worn contacts before, as though I was incompetent. When the eye doctor called for a patient named Maria, the same associate stared at me, waiting for me to respond. Not all Hispanic women are named Maria, and I found that extremely offensive. To make matters worse, the staff began gossiping about another patient immediately after she left, which felt very unprofessional and added to my discomfort. On top of that, I was told the retina photo was mandatory and charged a $40 copay for it. At every other Target Optical I've visited, this exam has been optional, so I felt misled and taken advantage of. The eye doctor himself was very nice and professional, however the target optical staff ruined my experience. Overall, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout my visit and will not be returning.

Dr Hong & Micha were EXTREMELY thorough! New to the area and was concerned with finding new glasses & RX. Very impressed by Target Optical!
